This fall, I decided to pull bags I already own, which fit into the current fall handbag trends, and put together a capsule wardrobe; instead of buying a new bag to add to my collection. While there are bags I would like to purchase, I am undecided on which one to actually buy; so I am going to wait until next season to decide. I am eyeing the Bottega Veneta Cassette Bag in black, the Givenchy Antigona Soft in grey, a few bags from Staud, and a few bags on Miirta. It’s hard to pick just one!

The fall handbag trends for 2020 include heavy chain straps, bucket bags, pouch clutches, hard clutches (due to shelter-in-place, I don’t have a place to wear this trend), geometric shape bags, and top handle satchels or totes.

The Givenchy Antigona is celebrating ten years, so it’s a fun bag to wear this year. My Chanel Boy bag takes care of the heavy chain trend, and of course Mansur Gavriel’s bags are always on pointe. I am wearing my Chloe Marcie because it fits the satchel trend, and it is also a fabulous casual bag for everyday use. Sometimes practical can be fabulous too 😉

If you are looking for classic bags with longevity, all of these bags have it! I have owned these bags for several years, and one bag, over a decade! The only new-ish bag is my Mansur Gavriel Cloud Clutch which I have had since late winter. Handbags rarely wear out, so it is always a good idea to invest in a handbag with a timeless vibe; that way you can pull it in and out of your closet. Investment dressing is always the way to go!

Fall 2020 is all about keeping things simple and classic. This nail polish for the autumn season provides that very vibe. The pink is chic, and the red is vampy; both ideal fall colors for a classic look. Love it!

Chanel Interdit nail polish for the fall 2020 season is a dark and vampy red hue. It is a deep and mysterious red with dark blue undertones bordering on black. It actually reminds me of vamp! Which is interesting given that fall 2020 fashion has 1990s influences. Chanel Interdit nail polish will blend in perfectly with these vibes!

If you are a classic, red nail polish girl, this is your hue of fall 2020. Interdit by Chanel can be worn both day and night; making it fabulous for the office and a night on the town. Or, if you are still locked down like we are in California, it can make you feel like you have someplace to go.

Pink is another timeless nail polish hue. To reinvent this classic shade, Chanel is giving us Egerie for the fall 2020 season. This is a light pink nail polish color with slightly white undertones. It is more of a pale pink than one would expect for the autumn season. This makes Chanel Egerie nail polish a feminine and playful hue for the fall season. If you are still on lockdown, this is a color you can put on and not worry about if it chips. Since it is such a light color, chips won’t show easily. Love that!

There are more colors from Chanel in their fall 2020 lipstick collection than just Lust. But, this was the one color I was drawn to. After all, when I go out in public I am wearing a mask. This dark yet sheer color is perfect for video conferencing since it shows up without being heavy. I am a huge fan of the Rouge Coco Flash collection. The colors offer sheer color and the lipstick itself is moisturizing and long lasting. Love!

How fabulous is this blue nail polish for summer 2020? Love it! Turns out, Chanel Melody is a nail polish hue which is part of Chanel’s summer 2020 beauty collection. It was not available yet when I originally did my Chanel summer 2020 nail polish post, so I found out about it after the fact. It’s such a fabulous color, I guess it wanted to be fashionably late to the summer nail polish party; and make an entrance! haha

If you have been following my blog for awhile, you may have noticed how much I love blue. If you are new here, blue is my favorite color. In fact, any oceanic hue is on my favorite color list. With that knowledge, you must know this color is making me very happy!

Chanel Melody reminds me of water. It also reminds me of the sky. Two things in nature which offer beautiful blue hues. This is a fun color to add to your summer beauty collection and wear on days when you are hitting the beach, or the pool! I love it!

It’s a bright blue cream nail polish which offers a smooth application. I used one base coat, two coats of Chanel Melody nail polish, and one top coat. This polish goes on smoothly, leaving no streaks or clumps. It’s a really pretty color, and looks great once you are done with your nails!
