Chanel’s fall 2014 beauty collection has arrived on store shelves, which means, we can enjoy a little bit of the new season during the current season! Love that!

The nail polish colors from Chanel’s fall 2014 color collection give us a snapshot into what will be hot this upcoming autumn season. Fall 2014 nail polish trends include soft pinks, nude’s, deep shades of blue and hunter green. Chanel’s fall 2014 nail polish collection includes a pinkish nude, “Secret,” an iridescent hue “Atmosphere” and a deep slate blue named “Orage.”

“Secret” from Chanel’s fall 2014 nail polish collection is a great way to wear fall 2014 during the hot summer months. This soft pink nail polish, also considered a nude shade, is easy to wear with any color palette and can easily pass for a summer hue. The pastel pink nature of “Secret” plays well with spring 2014’s pastel hues and summer 2014’s bright and neon colors. Although it works well as a summer hue, Chanel “Secret” nail polish is very fall 2014. Love that!

I tested out Chanel “Secret” nail polish and found the polish looked streaky with two coats. I added a third coat and the color turned out perfect. I wore Chanel “Secret” with three coats of color, one base coat and no top for one week. The nail polish held up really well and took six days to chip.

Chanel “Secret,” is not limited edition, so this pretty pink nail polish can easily become a classic staple in anyone’s nail polish wardrobe. “Secret” by Chanel is a great everyday nail polish which should work now and throughout the fall season; as well as into the winter and cruise seasons!

Chanel Tutti Frutti nail polish is an orange-pink nail polish hue from Chanel’s summer 2014 beauty collection. This playful nail polish color is perfect for sunny summer days. Tutti Frutti’s cheery hue is ideal for having fun with color this summer season. Chanel Tutti Frutti nail polish plays well with shades of pink, red, orange and yellow. It is a warm hue which will lend itself well to hot summer days in July and August.

I tested out Chanel Tutti Frutti nail polish with two coats of color, one base coat and no top coat. The nail polish lasted six days before chipping. Tutti Frutti by Chanel is great alternative to orange this summer season if you are looking for a warm nail polish color but the orange nail polish trend isn’t your style.

Chanel “Sweet Lilac” is a hot new, pinkish lavender nail polish hue from Chanel’s summer 2014 beauty collection “Reflets d’ete de Chanel.” This beautiful pinkish lavender hue was given the perfect name by Chanel; it surely is a Sweet Lilac hue!

With Pantone’s color of the year being “Radiant Orchid,” Chanel’s “Sweet Lilac” nail polish arrives just in time for the summer season; giving color enthusiasts everywhere an easy way to wear the year’s hottest hue. Chanel “Sweet Lilac” nail polish is a similar shade to “Radiant Orchid” making it a great way to rock the color of the year.

Chanel “Sweet Lilac” nail polish is an easy color to wear this summer 2014 season. The pinkish tinge inside this lavender hue, allows Sweet Lilac to blend well with cool color palettes, as well as any shade of blue, green, purple and pink. Chanel “Sweet Lilac” nail polish is a middle-of-the-road color making it right between neon and pastel. This allows the  nail polish color to play well with both pastels and neons without clashing. Love that!

I tested out Chanel “Sweet Lilac” with two coats of color, one base coat and no top coat. The polish lasted six days before chipping. Sweet Lilac was easy to apply and the color brushed on smoothly without streaking.

If you like the idea of a lavender hue for summer nail polish but Chanel Sweet Lilac has too much pink it in for your taste, please check out my review of Dolce & Gabbana’s “Lilac” nail polish. It has more of a blue base and is a beautiful lilac hue.
