Well, not much has changed since last week! What was hot last Friday, is pretty much still hot today! Everyone is loving hobo bags, classic cut jeans, warm and puffy jackets, spring nail polish, and these fabulous, faux fur boots which happen to be on major sale. Love that!

These are all great items to stock up on now since hobo bags, pouch bags, classic cut jeans, and spring nail polish will carry us all from winter into spring. We still get cold weather in the early spring, so these faux fur boots are perfect to get now since they are on sale and can be used for several months, as well as saved for next winter. This puffy jacket is also perfect for right now and into early spring. After all, the groundhog said six more weeks of winter!

Today is National Wear Red Day, so in order to raise awareness for heart disease, be sure to rock some red. I will be wearing my red hobo bag. It’s perfect for National Wear Red Day, plus, it’s lucky for Lunar New Year. Love!

‘Tis the season to stay cozy! This cozy puffer jacket is available in several colors, and selling quickly. I have one in vegan leather, but the fabric version is equally fabulous and cozy; plus, it costs less. Love that!

If your toes are cold, you need warmer footwear! These faux fur boots are on major sale, plus, they are cozy, comfortable, and I can walk a lot in them. Love!

My handbag trend report for 2022 is coming up, and two trends you will find on it are hobo bags and small or mini bags. Plus, top handle bags are hot too. These two handbags are right on trend for the new year, and they are selling quickly since they are already popular on the streets. Love them!

February starts next week, and it is the month to wear red! Red is lucky for Lunar New Year, which occurs on February 1, 2022. Plus, National Wear Red Day is on February 4. We wear red on the 4th to raise awareness about heart health. Check out my post about it here. In addition to Lunar New Year, and heart health, Valentine’s Day is a fun day to wear red and/or pink. I plan on wearing a red bag since I don’t own very much red. Hopefully that will make my bank account lucky in the new lunar new year!

Winter is in full swing, and we are all starting to think about spring trends we can rock now; such as nail polish and hobo bags. These are easy ways to update our cold weather looks with a little touch of sunshine. Love that!

If you haven’t invested in a pair of leather, or faux leather pants yet, what are you waiting for? This is a huge trend which started last year, and designers are still loving the look well into 2022. Be careful when shopping for faux leather, as some types can look plasticky. If you love this trend, it’s worth spending a little bit more in order to ensure getting smooth and non-plastic-looking faux leather. The pair I own look amazing in person and are very soft to the touch; I highly recommend them!

Looking for a new handbag in 2022? I am working on my annual handbag trends article which will post later this month. In the meantime, think hobos, bucket bags, top handle lady bags, mini bags, and the continuation of the pouch. Leather is going to be soft, polished, or stamped exotic. Handbags are getting smaller with a more understated footprint. More details later this month!
