It’s pre-fall season! August is the month to test out the new fall trends and try to weave them into your summer wardrobe; after all, it is still hot outside! The easiest way to update your wardrobe this month is to wear colors from the fall color palette, fall nail polish-loving Dior’s new collection, and carry a fabulous yet anonymous handbag. Love!

The denim pencil skirt is a great way to start rocking the fall trends! While temperatures are still up there, the denim pencil skirt can be paired with loafers, loafer mules, and even sandals. Pair it with a tee, a classic belt, and an anonymous handbag and voila! You have a chic, updated outfit which will still be comfortable in the warmer weather. Love that!

Everyone is starting to stock up for fall! My fall trend report will come out next week, but in the meantime, you can shop your closet for fall and also look for chic, classic pieces you can wear year after year. Love!

This fall, denim pencil skirts are huge! There are many styles out there, many of which have one side slit. The one featured above has two side slits! It’s really soft, and in my opinion, easier to walk in than the ones with one side slit. I can’t wait for cooler weather so I can wear it with my black boots! Love the look!

That is one of the fall colors from Dior you see above. Stay tuned for my Dior fall nail polish review next week! Isn’t this color fabulous?! Love it!

Keep rocking those anonymous handbags! Logos are still taking a backseat. The look is still understated and chic as we move into the fall season. I love a timeless look, don’t you?

The fall trends are starting to appear, and we are getting a clear picture of what made it from the runways to the streets! Love that!

As we know, the anonymous handbag is still going strong and logos are still tacking a backseat. Of course, Barbie pink is hotter than hot right now and shades of green and red are also proving to be hot as move towards the fall season. There is one hot trend I am in love with, the long pencil denim skirt!

Long pencil denim skirts are hot this fall season and I found the perfect one! Most of the long denim skirts being shown for fall have one slit, this skirt has two! Plus, the denim fabric is high quality and soft, making it a comfortable and chic choice for rocking this trend. Sizes are starting to sell out, so if you plan to rock the denim pencil skirt trend, you might want to snap this skirt up now! I am in love with it, and I already have plans to style it several ways. Love!

I saw the Barbie movie! Finally! I will post a review early next week, and I would love to hear your thoughts on it too! So fun!
