How pretty is this purple hue! I am in love! Chanel Sorciere is one of twenty-four new nail polish colors introduced this summer by Chanel. Isn’t it fabulous! Love!

Sorciere by Chanel is a pretty purple hue which you can wear now, during the summer months, we as well throughout the fall and winter season. It is a good color which transcends seasons. I am excited to weave it into my current summer nail polish rotation.

I tested out Chanel Sorciere nail polish with one base coat and two coats of color. It is a cream polish which glides on smoothly and applies streak free. I did find a couple of spots where I needed to do a third brush stroke to make the color even. This could have been due to applying too light of a first coat.

Academy of Art University Graduation Fashion Show 2023

The Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California, held their graduation fashion show on May 11, 2023. I was invited to attend, but unfortunately my schedule wouldn’t allow me to go up to the city. Thankfully the show was also live streamed on YouTube, so I was able to enjoy all the beautiful designs shown by their new graduates.

Since I wasn’t able to attend in person, my photos are horrible. I apologize profusely for posting screenshots of the show! You can watch the entire show on YouTube here.

I was really impressed with the combination of artistic vision and down to earth, wearable designs presented by the graduates. I saw so many styles on the runway which were street worthy! Love that!

I am starting to feel like this is the year of the handbag! Instead of a distinct IT bag, which we have moved away from in the past couple of years, we have an IT style; the anonymous handbag. Beautiful, investment handbags are flying off of store shelves. When you look around on the street to see what everyone is carrying, there is an array of beautiful, well-made, investment handbags in small and medium sizes. I love the variation of bags we are seeing right now! Personal style is at its peak! Love that!

This black handbag is simple and chic, yet offers an unique style that garners compliments every-time I wear it. Don’t you love it when random strangers compliment your bag? I know I do! This is why I tell people when I love their bags, and this black bag attracts those random compliments. If you are looking for an anonymous bag which offers some punch, this is it!
