Denim for spring 2017 is a huge trend which originated on the runways. Of course, one could argue that denim is always hot, but this season, it is hotter than hot! So it ground-breaking, in a way. Ha!
This is a fabulous trend for spring and summer since denim is casual by nature; and denim is always comfortable! This means you can look fashionable, and fabulous, while wearing something practical, washable, and comfortable. Love that!
Denim is being found on everything for spring from shoes to handbags to accessories to clothing. There is something for everyone in denim this season. Even on a hot summer day, when jeans are too thick, you can rock a denim handbag or a pair of denim shoes, and still be wearing the denim trend for spring and summer.

Slides and mules have been sneaking into fashion for the past three years. It is in the spring 2017 season that they have taken the streets by storm; leaving little room for any other shoe style!
Since shoes are being shown highly embellished, tied in bows, denim, printed with patterns or stripes, and in classic solid color styles for spring 2017, there is a style of slides or mules for every taste, occasion, and comfort level. Love that!
It does not matter if you like flats, heels, covered toes, open toes, leather, fabric, suede, or other, there is a style of slides, or mules, out there for you this spring season. There is no wrong slide or mule on the market! Anything goes, as long as your shoe is backless. Love!
Mules and slides were on the spring runways in New York for the spring and summer seasons. Not only were they on the catwalk, they made it to the streets quickly! It seems as though everyone has at least one pair of slides or mules this season. All you need is one pair of comfy leggings or sweatpants, a fabulous pair of Adidas sneakers, a cute yet casual tee, and of course your go-to Mansur Gavriel bucket bag. Voila! This sparkle tee in navy with rose gold threading is a full on game changer. It is a casual, basic tee by nature, yet elevated because it sparkles. I have to admit, I also bought it in beige with yellow golden threads. It is perfect for making everyday jeans and a tee into a glamorous ensemble. I love how it makes these leggings and a tee outfit something special.
Athleisure for spring would not be as cool as it is without a pair of Adidas sneakers! Back in the 1990s I owned a pair with navy stripes, and before that, I had the old school, green striped version. For spring 2017, I decided to glam things up and I bought them with the rose gold stripes. I love the rose gold!!!
