The warm weather is starting to creep in as spring brings blossoms, sunshine and mini-vacations to the lives of Fashionistas everywhere. Brightly colored bangles for the spring and summer months

The color trend is huge this season and Fashionistas everywhere are going crazy trying to spread out their dollars to accumulate as much color as possible. One of the easiest ways to instantly add color to any ensemble, or to add additional color to an already colorful outfit, is with the colored bangle.

Colorful bangle style bracelets are being found everywhere from jewelry counters to city streets. Bangles are being found in one color as well as color blocking; making them one of the easiest ways to be on-trend for spring and summer in 2012.

Another fabulous feature of the colorful bangle is that they can be found for under $20! While many designers are showing high end colored bangles, Fashionistas on a budget can also enjoy this trend. Stores such as JCPenny are selling bright and cheery colored bangles for $12 each and for just a few more dollars, department stores such as Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s offer colorful bangles for under well under $50. Love that!

Metallic touches for the spring season

Metallic touches are being found everywhere for the spring 2012 season. Shimmering fabrics are being found on dresses, skirts, pants, denim and tops; showing the world that sparkle is for more than just evening occasions. Metallics have been an important trend over the past few seasons, but for spring 2012 they have taken store shelves, and streets, by storm. 

Metallic fabrics, sequins, crystal encrusted jewelry, glitter pumps, metallic touches on shoes, metallic leathers and more are being spotted everywhere. They key to wearing this trend is to pick one apparel piece either made from metallic fabric or adorned with a shimmering embellishment or embroidery which shines. Metallic touches for spring are exactly that; touches. Leave the head to toe metallics for formal affairs and clubs 
One of the great things about the metallic trend is that is has already been spotted on the fall runways. The most prominent metallic touch on the fall runway was gold embroidery; especially yellow gold paired with black. This is definitely one trend to watch and invest in for 2012.
