Monique Lhuillier fall 2016 runway collection available for pre-order

Monique Lhuillier sent her fall 2016 collection down the New York Fashion Week runway on February 13, 2016 at the Skylight Moynihan in New York. The collection was “an artistic expression of an eccentric woman that is cool, relaxed, and rock n’ roll.” Lhuillier designed the collection for her customer who mixes unexpected combinations, and experiments with rich textures for that over-the-top elegance. The result is a collection which is both luxurious, fashion-forward, cutting-edge, and downright covetable.

Well guess what?! You don’t have to wait to shop the collection until August, or September, when the fall collections hit store shelves. The hot new concept  of “see it now, buy it now” is in full swing, and Monique Lhuillier has jumped on the bandwagon. You can pre-order her collection online now!

One of the biggest trends at New York Fashion Week was the concept of bringing the runway directly to the consumer; without the traditional, season-long wait. Many designers have adopted the concept and are allowing pre-orders of their fall 2016 designs, and/or making some pieces available immediately. Love that!

Immediately after Monique Lhuillier’s fall/winter 2016/2017 collection went down the runway, select pieces were available on her website in limited quantities. In order to highlight these shopping options, there was a handbag symbol next to each ensemble which was available for sale on her website in the run of show materials left for guests of the fashion show.

This was an amazing concept, since customers were able to shop select styles from the fall 2016 runway as soon as the last model walked off the catwalk. Then, to add to the excitement, at the end of February, Monique Lhuillier announced her full, fall 2016 collection was available for pre-order online for a limited time! How fabulous is that!

With a nod to the early 1970s, the collection is filled with metallic tapestry lame, paisley printed jacquard, watercolor roses, classic shoulder bags, playful sunglasses, thin belts, and ornate footwear. The collection is beautiful, and you can pre-order it now!

I have my eyes on this beautiful green dress I Instagrammed after the show. I am also coveting this pink coat. This pink skirt caught my eye on the runway, I was so sad I didn’t get a picture of it! It would be an amazing addition to my wardrobe. What are your favorite pieces from the collection?

Mansur Gavriel has introduced their fall 2016 collection and made it available immediately for pre-order online. There are several new colors for the fall 2016 season which include navy, pink, burgundy, bright blue, red, and more!

For fall 2016, Mansur Gavriel has introduced new fabrications. In addition to coated calf, Mansur Gavriel’s fall 2016 collection includes suede, canvas, and patent leather. There are also new shoe styles which include loafers, and pumps.

The new tote is my all-time favorite piece from the Mansur Gavriel fall 2016 collection. The tote comes in small, and large. The bow gives it a sweet look which will work well with New York’s late 1960s, and early 1970s influence for the fall 2016 season.

There is also a little mini moon clutch which is a great wardrobe staple. The frame bag offers a vintage vibe; and looks like something you might steal from your Grandmother’s closet. The collection has an overall feminine, sweet vibe which is sure to be hit! Mansur Gavriel can do no wrong.

It is always difficult to find Mansur Gavriel in stock. So now that Mansur Gavriel has released their fall 2016 collection early, and available for pre-order, this is the ideal time to snag the Mansur Gavriel fall 2016 bag of your dreams! I am eyeing the tote but cannot decide on color or size! We all need to act quick before they are gone. Not only will these bags sell out, they are only available for pre-order for two days. The Rebecca Minkoff Finn shoulder bag, which converts to a clutch, is a fun way to rock the fringe trend. Rebecca Minkoff first launched the fringe, Finn handbag back in 2014, and since then, she has released it every season in both classic hues, and seasonal shades.

Rebecca Minkoff is known for creating high quality, sturdy handbags which are high on style, and low in price. The Finn has lived up to Rebecca Minkoff’s reputation, and delivers on both runway style, and durability. Love that!

I have owned my Rebecca Minkoff Finn clutch in black since 2014, and I still wear it often. It has been caught in the rain, brought to the gym, thrown around by my kids, and been through the daily grind of life. On this day in 2016, my Rebecca Minkoff Finn handbag still looks brand new! Now THAT is fabulous 😉

The playful fringe on the Finn clutch is in two rows, giving the bag a full fringe look and feel. The strap is detachable, allowing the bag to be worn as a clutch, shoulder bag, or cross body bag. I love having the option to wear it different ways. This also makes Rebecca Minkoff’s Finn bag great for travel!

There is a strong zipper closure on the bag which has held up to many zips, and unzips, over the years. This is a testament to the high quality construction of the bag.

The interior of the Rebecca Minkoff Finn handbag has a playful pattern on a thick, cotton twill lining. There is one pocket which is great for holding business cards, folded cash, credit cards, or a lipstick. I can fit my wallet, iPhone, lipstick, keys, and other small items inside the bag. It holds quite a bit for it’s little size!

The fringe trend, which has been part of the Western trend, boho-chic trend, and 70’s trend, is showing no sign of slowing down in the next few seasons. A cute little handbag such as the Finn, is a great way to rock this trend. It can be worn with casual attire, or as a clutch with a dressy ensemble for a night out on the the town. Fabulous!
