Coach Swing Zip review

How cute is the Coach Swing Zip! This small satchel is a reissue of an almost identical version Coach released in the early 2000’s. Do you know what this means? Glove tanned leather! Yes! Of course, it is not the same as the leather from the 1990s, but still, the glove tanned leather from Coach is still nice.

There is currently an east/west satchel trend on the streets right now, so the Coach Swing Zip fits right into that trend making it both classic and trendy, love that! The Swing Zip by Coach offers a zipper closure, an interior zipper pocket, and an interior slip pocket. The two shoulder straps are adjustable, but I don’t see why anyone would adjust them. The straps are perfect for wearing the bag as a shoulder bag.

The Coach Swing Zip is room enough for daily essentials, but it is still on the small side. I can fit my wallet, lipstick, phone, keys, Kleenex, and glasses case inside.

There is still a small amount of room after I fill the bag with my essentials, but not much. I would say it is a step up, interior space-wise, from the Coach Swinger.

The Coach Swing Zip is proving to be a popular reissue. it seems to sell out with a day or two of Coach releasing a batch. If you follow me on LTK you can save this link and the app will alert you when it restocks.

The classic north/south tote style is hot this year. So, if you have one tucked away in the back of your closet, pull it out and rock it! If not, you might consider investing in one if you think this slouchy tote style will fit into your lifestyle.

Of course, the designer version of this popular handbag style is well over $1000, but luckily not too high priced as it is still under $2000. If you are looking for something a little softer on your bank account, this mid-priced version from a fabulous luxury brand might be more up your alley. It is under $1000 and features excellent quality and craftsmanship. This is the one on my wish list!

I love this soft neutral hue as we move through spring and head into summer. It will also play well with fall’s upcoming color palette. Love that!

There are so many fabulous handbags under $1000 for the spring 2024 season, it is unnecessary to spend thousands of dollars on a handbag; unless of course you are absolutely in love with it and know you will get a lot of use out of it, but I digress. . .

The spring 2024 is still all about the anonymous handbag. The ultimate IT bag is a bag no one knows, unless of course, they know! haha

Handbags right now are all about high quality, expert craftsmanship, and no loud logos. Think, investment handbags!

While fun colors are hot for spring, neutrals and black are also hot right now. A fun color can be an investment just as much as a neutral or black handbag. When shopping for a color, look for a hue you love and can picture yourself wearing every spring/summer season. Don’t buy a color because you think it is trendy, buy a shade you love and will cherish for years. That will make a colorful handbag a true investment.
