Welcome to my revamped handbag capsule wardrobe! Although I have been assembling a seasonal capsule wardrobe on the blog for the past few years, I am finding my handbags change more on a monthly basis versus a seasonal basis. Therefore, it only seems natural to talk about my handbag capsule by the month instead of the season.

July is a month filled with staycation trips, visiting friends, the beach, and the Barbie movie. Yes! The Barbie movie! This brings me to the pink tote featured in the photo above. I pulled this tote out from my closet. It is a classic medium tote, in a sweet pink hue. Happy Barbie summer!

So, if you are excited for the Barbie movie to premiere later in July, then you will want to pull out your pink handbag from the back of your closet and put it into rotation. Don’t own a pink bag? That’s OK, this is a great time to invest in one! Look for a classic design which will transcend trends, that way, when you are in a pink mood, the bag will be easy to pull out of your closet and wear. Love that! A good tote is also important when it comes to July. This month is filled with summer day trips and warm weather, so a tote is a must to fit extras such as sunscreen and a hat.

In addition to a carry-all, I love smaller, cross body bags to carry my essentials. My classic go-to black, brown, and green bags are in the mix this month. These are the bags I reach for everyday. The exact color depends on my outfit and mood. Loving these three little bags!
