This is a great time of year to start looking at what is in our closets for the fall season. I will be posting about shopping your closet for fall in the next few weeks, but in the meantime, definitely clear out anything that is in poor condition or doesn’t fit anymore. That’s the best way to start getting organized!

Thankfully the anonymous handbag, and chic dressing, are continuing into the fall season. This means we can breathe easy knowing logos are still stored in the back of the closet. I love a beautiful, high-quality handbag without a loud logo.

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale continues! There are still many good basics, beauty products and necessities in stock. I love this sweater and this hair dryer!

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale always has a few fabulous boots and shoes. This year, there seems to be more choices. Love that!

Classic black boots are essential in everyone’s closet. If you don’t have a good pair in your closet, I love these two choices. One’s a classic black boot with a stacked heel, the other has a slightly sculpted heel. They are both fabulous!

Sneakers are a closet staple too. I love this pair which has a small silver accent on the logo. They are neutral enough to wear every day, with any color combo.

Ballet flats and Mary Jane styles are still big as we head into fall. There are several choices in both categories. Love them!

Of course, suede boots are always perfect for fall. Clean lines, and classic silhouettes are what’s hot right now.

Summer continues to be a season of timeless styles and understated looks on the streets. As we get a sneak peek into fall with pre-fall pieces offered during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, we see a continuation of this trend to not follow loud trends.

Speaking of the sale, have you shopped? A few of the items I had on my wish list sold out before I could snap them up. Yikes! So, I am waiting to see if they restock for the public sale on Monday. Meanwhile, I did purchase this fabulous hair dryer set since my daughter wants to bring mine to college this fall. It is fine since we have been sharing a hair dryer for a few years now. This is a popular hair dryer set, so stay tuned for my review!
