The beauty deals are the best part of the 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. So many products I use are being offered in sets which can save us a great deal of money. As you know, this is money we can spend on fabulous handbags later in the season. Love that!

I am excited to try this face mask. It looks like it will be a great way to deep clean at home. Since my daughter is taking my hair dryer and all its attachments to college with her, I am getting this hair dryer set for myself as a replacement. It looks amazing!

Laura Mercier eye pencils are a huge favorite of mine. I have been using them for over twenty years! Love! So, this eye pencil set from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great deal, and I love the colors!

Hair is your biggest accessory, so why not use the best shampoo? My hairdresser recommends Oribe, and she knows hair! I love this hair care set and I also have the travel size versions in my travel beauty bag. This set is a great deal so I am excited to snap it up and save more money I can put towards my handbag fund. haha

L’Occitane hand cream is a cult favorite, so this set is the perfect hand care set to buy now. It is one of my favorites and definitely coming home with me!

Frosted lipstick is back! Remember in the late 1980s and early 1990s reaching for blue eyeliner and pink frosted lipstick? A can of hairspray nearby? Large hoop earrings and crop tops? Oh yeah, that look is back, minus the hairspray; and the crop tops aren’t boxy, they are form fitting. Oh, and that’s how teenagers dress, not us; except for the make-up. So, let’s talk frosted lipstick!

Frosted lipstick cycles in and out of fashion, which is fine, because we don’t invest in lipstick expecting it to last years. I mean, ew.

The look of frosted lips is iconic when tied to 1960s style and late 1980s/early 1990s style. It even had a mild resurgence in the early 2000s. Now, in 2024, it is back and the trend is strong.

Unlike the 1990s, you are not relegated to one color of frosted lipstick. Your hue doesn’t need to be pink, just a frosted color which works for you and your wardrobe, as well as your coloring. Love that!

We learned in the early 2000s that MAC cornered the market on the perfect frosted lipstick. I stand by that discovery from twenty years ago. The best way to rock the frosted lipstick trend is with a color from the MAC Frost Lipstick collection. I found three hues I love, and I will be wearing these this summer into fall.

Happy National Nail Polish Day! What a fabulous day! As you know, I love nail polish. It is so much fun to be able to change your nail color at home on a whim. Plus, it is less expensive to paint your nails at home than going to the nail salon. Of course, you can always buy a favorite color and have a professional apply it, but I find it relaxing to do my own nails while watching something fun on television or enjoying time with my family.

So, with that being said, let’s celebrate nail polish! Yay! As I type this, I am currently wearing Hermes Bleu Electronique nail polish from their spring/summer 2024 collection. It is such a happy blue hue. Love! What color are you wearing right now?
