It’s officially fall! Yay! We have also been enjoying foggy mornings and cooler days. Love this! It finally feels like fall, and it is fall!

As we head through fashion month, we are seeing what’s in store for us when the spring season hits early next year. The overall take-aways so far include color mixing, volume, and texture. It seems the move away from minimalism isn’t jumping right into maximalism; instead, it is easing into it. So, what to expect as we invest in the current season? Let’s dive in.

As you continue to invest in your fall wardrobe, think neutrals, timeless style and solid colors. The spring season mixes neutrals with color, as well as color on color; but not loud prints. So, you can continue wearing solids; just mix them up a little bit more. The overall vibe is still free of logos, so continue to shop for quality at a reasonable price as opposed to logos. Plus, higher prices don’t equate to quality as they once did twenty plus years ago. Price now equates to brand name while quality can be found at a fraction of the price.

Spring will also bring us more re-vamps of classic IT bags. The Balenciaga City bag, Fendi Baguette, Proenza Schouler PS1, and more. So, if you own a former IT bag, pull it out from the back of the closet and wear it now! If you missed it the first time around, wait for the new releases as they roll onto store shelves now, and well into the spring season. The city bag is releasing more colors too, a nod to its heyday when collecting colors was hotter than hot. That hobby is making a comeback!

Which brings me to, colorful handbags! The spring season will bring back fun colors on handbags. So, bring out your bright bags from past seasons and start rocking them again. Also, look forward to investing in your favorite color or colors this spring season; just make sure they are logo-free.
