It is that time of year again when children and adults of all ages are getting ready to head back to school! When it is time to go back to school, there is quite a bit of shopping which must take place before setting foot on campus for the new year. In addition to binder paper, erasable pens, folders and binders, students of all ages need to be able to express who they are for the new year through a new wardrobe!

Of course, students do not need to replace their entire wardrobe from the previous school year, but buying a few new outfits and a new book-bag are definitely in order for the new school year. After all, a new year requires an updated, new look!

As a Mother of three, my favorite place to go back-to-school school shopping in the Bay Area is Santana Row. Not only can you start your shopping day off at one of the Row’s many fabulous restaurants, there are many shops to choose from in varying price points. Love that!

Urban Outfitters is a back-to-school shopping paradise! This two story shop is filled with clothing and accessories for both men and women. Everything in store reflects the hottest street trends and runways trends for the fall 2014 season, making it an ideal destination for back-to-school shopping. Urban Outfitters also has book bags for the new school year. They have leather backpacks, canvas backpacks, reversible totes and color-blocked totes.

If your student is heading off to a college dorm, Urban Outfitters has a wide array of home decor items which would be perfect for creating a home away from home. Home items are located on both the first and second floors. Look for generously sizes mugs, retro styled cameras, books, records (yes! they still exist!) and cozy throws.
