Spring starts next week! How is that possible? I am a little slow this year in getting my spring capsule wardrobe on the blog. The weather has been so cold and stormy, spring has not been on my radar. My capsule should definitely hit the blog next week! In the meantime, I still have a spring wish list!
This spring season, I am not sure how often we will have warm weather. Therefore, I am pairing down what I buy for the spring as it appears I will still need to integrate some winter clothing into my daily outfits. It is cold, and the ocean is falling from the sky! Despite the fact that it is March, our weather is acting like it is still January. What type of Twilight Zone is this?? But I digress. . . let’s talk about spring shopping! It is way more fun. haha
For the upcoming spring season, I would love to get a new pair of Mary Jane shoes, since the style is hotter than hot. In addition to this hot shoe style, ballet flats are back with a vengeance, and I have a pair buried in my closet. Those will definitely be brought back out this spring season! Loafers are also a must have this spring as they are the perfect match to balance the ongoing menswear trend we are seeing in fashion. Keep wearing your blazers with jeans, and rock those power suits at work. Love!
Straw totes are always a favorite of mine, and since I have the perfect small tote, I would love to add a larger tote to my collection. I have my eye on this beautiful straw tote. The straps and ombre weave are beautiful. I. Must. Have.
As you know, green is one of the hot colors this spring season, and this cute, yet structured sweater jacket, seems perfect for brightening up the day, looking springy, and offering some warmth. Love that!

Happy National Jewel Day! Although the day is focused more on jewels and fine jewelry, I thought it would be fun to also celebrate classic, timeless jewelry which doesn’t break the bank. Don’t get me wrong, I love a beautiful bauble, but timeless, everyday jewelry is not only more practical, but it is also more indicative of personal style. After all, how many people walk around flashing large, fine jewels? OK, you got me, princesses! Well, since most of us are not part of a royal family, investment jewelry we can wear everyday is perfect.
