Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips review

Deep Cleansing Pore Strips c/o Biore

Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips first debuted when I was in undergrad at USF. I always thought it looked like an easy way to clean out my pores, but I was always afraid to deviate from my cleansing routine. When Biore contacted me and asked me if I would like to test out thier Deep Cleansing Pore Strips, I jumped at the chance!

In order to see how deep Biore’s Deep Cleansing Pore Strips could really clean, I skipped my weekly mask and stuck to my daily cleansing routine. This was a good strategy because by skipping my mask, my pores really needed some deep cleaning!

To start my test, I washed my face gently with face wash and dried my skin. After my skin was thoroughly dry, I wet my nose and under my eyes with cool water, then, I applied the Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strip to my nose. I allowed the Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strip to dry on my nose and sit for fifteen minutes. After fifteen minutes, I gently peeled off the Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strip.

After peeling the pore strip, I wash shocked! Ew, was more like it. All of the dirt from my pores was stuck to the strip staring back at me. Well, now that my pores were clean, I was mortified at how dirty they had been before using Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips!

Now that I have tried out Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips, I am definitely going to use them once a week. They get out all of the deep down dirt inside pores which is next to impossible to clean out myself.  My rating? Five out of five stars!

ReVive Intensite Creme Lustre Night Cream review

ReVive is a skin care brand I have been using for over ten years. I am a huge fan of their Fermitif Neck Renewal Cream and Sensitif Renewal Cream; and I recently started using their Gentle Purifying Gel facial cleanser (you can read my review here). So when I found out ReVive had recently released a new night cream, I was intrigued!

The Intensite Creme Lustre Night Cream is a fabulous addition to the ReVive skin care line. This amazing night cream renews my skin overnight without added spf. After using ReVive’s Intensite Creame Lustre Night Cream for three weeks, my skin has become visibly firmer and more smooth. Love that! I have also found that ReVive’s Intensite Creame Lustre Night Cream moisturizes my dry summer skin and repairs any peeling skin I may suffer from the sun; usually on my nose.

I am thrilled to be able to add ReVive’s Intensite Creame Lustre Night Cream to my daily skincare routine!

ReVive’s Intensite Creame Lustre Night Cream can be found online here, here and here.

My favorite’s from ReVive:

Facial sunscreen picks for summer 2014

From top: La Mer / Laura Mercier / Clarins / Orlane / La Prairie / Shiseido

The hot summer months have arrived. With temperatures topping out in the high 90’s around the San Francisco Bay Area this week, it is extremely important to have the right sunscreen on your face. I tested out several sunscreens, and narrowed it down to six fabulous facial sunscreens for summer 2014.

These fabulous facial sunscreens are non-greasy and work well underneath make-up. They block the sun and do not clog pores. Love that! To make things even better, there is a sunscreen on my list within every price range. Love that too!
