Colleen Rothschild Retinol Supreme Night Oil review

Fall is here! This means it is time to start getting cozy and comfy before heading upstairs for some beauty sleep. I always end my evenings with a warm cup of tea, cozied up in fuzzy slippers, and with my nighttime beauty routine in check.

Before Colleen Rothschild sent me her fabulous new Retinol Supreme Night Oil, I was using a thick night cream on my face after washing it at the end of the day. Since my skin is prone to acne, using a heavy cream at night is considered “living on the edge.” Seriously, can we say “encouraging a break-out!?”

Colleen Rothschild’s new Retinol Supreme Night Oil is the perfect solution for my skin; it’s so lightweight! After I wash my face, I can apply a few drops of it to my face and neck; and voila! My skin enjoys “stabilized retinol” overnight which encourages healthy skin renewal. In addition to the benefits of retinol on skin renewal, this product has vitamin C which helps combat environmental toxins on the skin. There are also nine plant based essential oils in Colleen Rothschild’s Retinol Supreme Night Oil which help replenish moisture in the skin, as well as help to prevent skin irritation. Love that!

The fall season is the perfect time to use a retinol based  product for skin renewal. When using retinol, skin becomes more sensitive to UVA and UVB rays, so wearing suncreen when heading outside is a must. Since there is less time in the sun during the fall season, this helps lessen sun exposure.

Autumn is the perfect time to rejuvenate after a summer spent in the sun. It is also a great time to enjoy the cooler weather, and cozy up with some warm tea and fuzzy slippers while our skin is replenished overnight!

L’Oreal Pure Clay cleansers and a new mask

loreal pure clay collection review

L’Oreal has added to their Pure Clay Collection! There are three new, clay based cleansers as well as a new mask made from Kaolite, Montmorillonite, Ghassoul, and Seaweed. Love!

The L’Oreal Pure Clay cleansers compliment the three original clay masks introduced by L’Oreal last summer. The cleansers are a great way to enhance the benefits reaped by using the L’Oreal clay masks. They clear up skin, leaving pores clear. They are almost like a mini-facial!

From left: L’Oreal Pure Clay Cleansers, Red Algae, Charcoal, and Eucalyptus.

These Pure Clay cleansers by L’Oreal are great to use daily; while I recommend using the matching mask once per week. I usually do my mask on Sunday evenings. My favorite from the collection is the Charcoal Pure Clay cleanser. It really keeps my pores clean; and does a great job removing dirt and impurities.

There is a new mask in town! L’Oreal has added a new mask to their Pure Clay Collection. This blue clay mask combines Kaolinite, Montmorillonite, Ghassoul, and seaweed to create a gentle mask aptly named the “Clear & Comfort Mask.”

This is a gentle mask which is great for soothing skin that might be irritated from the elements, makeup, or bad products. I love using it on a Sunday evening when my skin has had a lot of sun exposure and my SPF failed me a bit; yes, this means when I have a slight sunburn. haha

If you loved the first three Pure Clay masks by L’Oreal, you will love the new Seaweed mask! I hope L’Oreal comes out with a matching Pure Clay cleanser for the seaweed soon!

Tula skin care products c/o Tula: Tula Purifying Face Cleanser / Tula Exfoliating Treatment Mask / Tula Hydrating Day & Night Cream

Have you ever discovered something on Instagram and wanted to try it? Sometimes I do! Tula skin care popped up on my Instagram feed one day, and it sounded extremely intriguing! Since I am trying to grow old gracefully, my first line of defense against aging is to use the right skin care. So I am always on the hunt!

Tula skin care uses probiotic technology, which is something that instantly caught my attention. I had to try it out! Tula was kind enough to send me a few travel size samples to test out on my skin. I am so excited to share my experience with you!

The Tula Purifying Face Cleanser is gentle, yet leaves my skin squeaky clean. It really did a good job of cleaning out my pores. Since this is a travel size, it is going straight into my travel skin care bag. It will be perfect for keeping my skin clean when I travel. I always feel like air travel leaves my skin dry, dirty, and in need of special care.

This Tula Exfoliating Mask is a relaxing way to deep clean skin. I love the deep clean results of it! This too is travel size, so it will be a great way to keep my skin deep cleaned while I am on the road. I recommend using this mask once a week. I like to use a mask on Sunday evenings to brighten up my skin for the week.

Tula has a great skin care product! The Tula Hydrating Day & Night Cream is two creams in one. Instead of needing two separate jars of cream for morning and night, this cream offers the lightweight texture needed for daytime, with the hydrating power needed overnight. Love that!

This is the perfect skin cream to use daily; and this size is perfect for travel. I am obsessed with this skin cream!

I definitely need to upgrade to full size products of Tula skin care. You can find the entire collection online here, and they have a fabulous starter kit you can test out too.

Have you tried Tula skin care? What are your thoughts?
