Dior is hitting home runs this year in the nail polish department! How fabulous are these variations on pinkish-red nail polish? Love them!!!

Prior to releasing their fall nail polish collection, which I believe consists of three sparkling, iridescent fall hues, Dior is offering a twist on classic, pink-red nail polish for our transition from late summer, into early fall. Hence, the pre-fall 2021 nail polish collection from Dior offers colors we can wear now, as well as any season of the year. Love that!

If you are like me, and you tend to shy away from true reds, you will love this collection. Dior Grace offers an understated, pink-red hue which has beige undertones. If you are more of a dark pink fan, Dior Desir has more dark pink than red in its’ formula, and I have to admit, it is my favorite from the collection. If you are a wild and crazy gal, Dior Victoire is your late summer, early fall color. It is a dark version of fuchsia with red undertones.

Something to note: if you work in a conservative environment, or you have a dress code, Dior Grace and Dior Desir should suit you well. In fact, these colors will be better for a work environment with dress code restrictions than the upcoming fall collection. This might mean the pre-fall 2021 nail polish collection from Dior will be your fall hues. They are fabulous and perfect for fall; yet they transcend season, so you can wear them now, and into next year. Go ahead, use up that bottle until the last drop!

Dior nail polish pre-fall 2021 | Dior Grace

Dior Grace nail polish is close to a dark rose hue. This polish mixes red, pink, and dark beige. It’s very pretty, and it’s the color I am wearing right now as I type this article. I would say this is the most conventional of the three colors, and the ideal choice for a work environment. Grace by Dior is also the easiest of the three hues to wear with any color palette. You will not find this one clashing with any of your summer or fall clothing. It’s a fabulous alternative to a neutral, and it acts like one too! Love that!

Dior nail polish pre-fall 2021 | Dior Desir

Oh, I love this one too. Dior Desir nail polish is more of a pinkish-red nail polish. It is bold, yet still offers a classic and timeless vibe. Desir by Dior is also an easy color to wear with your summer and fall color palette. I feel like it has more of a fall vibe than Grace; yet can still work in late summer, and the upcoming winter season.

Dior nail polish pre-fall 2021 | Dior Victoire

Are you bold? Dior Victoire nail polish is the color for you! This is a dark fuchsia which is a great fall and winter hue. The darker composition allows it to be worn in the cooler months, yet it still has enough of a bright pink-red tone to offer a side of wild fun. This is definitely the notice-me color from the collection. Love!

Neutrals abound for summer 2021 from the Chanel beauty collection! The Chanel summer beauty collection, “Les Beiges Summer Light,” is focused on neutral hues, which range from pale beige through to shades of brown. The collection includes bronzer, eye shadow, lipstick, and of course, four fabulous shades of nail polish!

The Chanel summer 2021 nail polish collection offers four neutral hues which all include shimmer. I love shimmer nail polish! There is nothing like a sparkling nail; not a glitter nail, just a hint of fabulous sparkle. Love that!

These are four colors which will be easy to wear throughout the summer season, and play well with any summer color palette we all choose to wear. The darker hues will also be perfect for transitioning from summer into fall. Love!

I tested the Chanel nail polish summer 2021 collection with one base coat, and two coats of color; no top coat. All four colors went on smoothly without streaking. As with all of Chanel’s nail polishes, they are chip resistant, and long lasting.

Chanel nail polish summer 2021 | Chanel Glimmer

Chanel Glimmer nail polish is an extremely pale, pinkish-beige hue with slight sparkle. This is a great color if you are looking for something pale and professional. I could say this is the best hue out of the four colors for a conservative office environment.

Glimmer by Chanel will also be a great color for travel this summer. Since it is pale, if it chips while you are on vacation, you won’t have to worry about the chip or scratch being visible. I also feel like Chanel Glimmer nail polish is perfect for toes. It will play well with any open toe shoe color or sandal. Love that!

Chanel nail polish summer 2021 | Chanel Sunlight

Chanel Sunlight nail polish is a light and cool, sparkling beige polish. This hue has cool undertones, making it a great color to pair with cooler color palettes this summer such as shades of blue, pink, purple, green, and of course, black! I love this color for warm summer days and beach excursions. It’s so pretty!

Chanel nail polish summer 2021 | Chanel Golden Sand

Looking for a warm summer nail polish? Chanel Golden Sand nail polish is a warm and sparkling hue. This polish has warm undertones making it ideal for warmer color palettes this summer such as shades of orange, red, yellow, brown, beige, and of course, gold! This is a beautiful neutral nail polish, I plan to wear it often this summer.

This is the ideal brown! Shades of beige, tan, and brown are hot this summer season. This makes Chanel Solar right on trend, and perfect for fitting into the neural apparel and accessories trend. Chanel Solar is my favorite nail polish from the collection, and it has the most noticeable sparkles! Love!

Solar by Chanel is also a great color to wear in late summer, and early fall. I would name it as the best color from the collection for transitioning from the summer season, into autumn. I am already addicted to this hue. Solar works well with both cool and warm color palettes, so it blends with everything in my closet; and I am sure yours too! While you might expect a darker brown for the fall season, and not summer, this is a color hot off the runways for the summer season. So brown is right on trend for summer this year. Love!

The Dior summer 2021 nail polish collection from the Dior Summer Dune beauty collection is here! I love this line of nail hues because it combines vivid, classic colors with unexpected summer shades. Love that!

In the world of nail polish, we started the year off with fresh takes on classic polish colors. As we move into the summer season, we are still seeing edgier variations of timeless nail polish hues as well as a few unexpected colors for the season. I am here for it!

Dior is one of the first designers to release their summer nail polish collection. At least, of the nail polish brands I watch, purchase, and wear, but I digress. . . Let’s take a closer look at each of the nail polish colors in Dior’s summer 2021.

Dior nail polish summer 2021: Dior Mirage

Dior Mirage nail polish for summer 2021 is a bright orange polish. This is the color you want if you like bold, look-at-me hues. I love this color for warm, summer beach days and events. It will also be a fun color to wear if you enjoy wearing white summer dresses and want to add a little pop to your look. Mirage is not for the faint of heart!

I tested Dior Mirage nail polish with one base coat and two coats of colors. It went on smoothly without streaking. Mirage is a cream polish. Love!

Dior nail polish summer 2021 Dior Hasard

For the summer season, Dior has a classic nail polish color to offer with Hasard. This reddish-pink is perfect for a timeless nail look as it is a bright take on a standby color. It’s very pretty, and it is easy to wear with any color palette you choose for your wardrobe this summer season. This is also a good choice if you work in a traditional environment with a dress code.

Dior Hasard is a cream polish which I tested with one base coat and two coats of color. It does not streak and applies smoothly. Love that!

Dior nail polish summer 2021: Dior Dune

I am in love with Dior Dune nail polish for the summer 2021 season! This is a dark, neutral polish, with a pink undertone. Dune is a fabulous neutral which can replace any nude polish you might be wearing. It is bold, yet can fly under the radar; making it perfect to wear at the office and everyday. If you work in an environment with a dress code, this polish will be perfect for you. I plan to wear this color the most out of all the shades in the collection. Love!

I tested out Dior Dune with one base coat and two coats of colors. This cream polish applies smoothly without streaking. It’s a winner!

Dior nail polish summer 2021: Dior Desert Nights

You know I always love a blue hue! When I spotted Desert Nights in the Dior nail polish summer 2021 collection, my heart skipped a beat. I feel like blue has been left out of so many nail polish collections in the last few seasons. Seriously, I was suffering blue nail polish withdrawal!

Normally in the summer months, we see bright blue nail polish colors, and often times we will see sparkling hues; especially from Chanel. This summer, Dior went in an unexpected direction and gave us an obviously fall blue hue. Dior Desert Nights mimics the night sky in a clear desert without light pollution. This night sky is deep, dark, and uninterrupted by street lights and human activity. So of course the nail polish created to mimic this sky would be a dark blue; it is just an unexpected shade of blue for the summer season, but who cares, I am here for it! I am also wearing Desert Nights as I type this post!

I tested out Dior Desert Nights with one base coat and two coats of color. This too, is a cream polish. Oftentimes with darker cream polishes we see streaking, not with Desert Nights! I was thrilled to see two coats was enough to create a smooth, even color on my nails. Love that!

One last thought on Dior Desert Nights nail polish; if you are looking for an investment polish to carry you through the summer, and well into the fall season, this is a great choice. Desert Nights by Dior is an autumn blue, so you can continue to wear it for many months ahead. Love investment polishes!

Dior Addict Lacquer Stick Nude Desert

The Dior beauty collection for summer 2021 includes two lacquer sticks; Nude Desert and Mirage. I only purchased Nude Desert because Mirage was a little too coral for me. Dior Nude Desert lacquer stick lipstick is a fabulous neutral for the summer season. It adds just a hint of color and moisturizes the lips. This color is understated and will play well with any summer clothing I wear. It will also play well with any color I put on my nails! Love that!

If you are looking for a fabulous neutral lipstick this summer, Dior Nude Desert lacquer stick is it! It is a great color to wear daily, and if you work in an environment with a dress code, this is a classic, understated hue you can wear to the office daily.
