Warm fall day and an entertaining dinner

wearing: sunglasses / earrings / short sleeve sweater / classic cut jeans / top handle bag / holiday nail polish / boots /

OK don’t laugh. Until the day these photos were taken, I had never been to Benihana. If you don’t live near a Benihana, and are wondering what I am talking about, it is an American chain restaurant inspired by Japanese Hibachi. They cook at your table, and you can watch your meal being prepared. The chefs are fun, friendly, and put on a mini show with knife skills and a mini fire at the end. It’s a fun evening!

Our fall weather has been warm this year, so I wore my new jeans and this short sleeve sweater. Since the cooking was done at the table, I definitely retained the scent of my meal for several hours after dinner. haha Thankfully, everything I wore was machine washable.

It seems to be a restaurant people go to for a special occasion. There were a lot of people walking in with gifts, and we heard the birthday song at least three time. It’s a very festive place!

So, if you live near a Benihana, I recommend checking it out if you haven’t already. It’s fun to watch them cook in front of you! Be sure to make a reservation, the Cupertino location had a really, long, long, loooooooooong line. Thankfully I had made reservations!

Thanks for stopping by!

Holiday manicure idea with Cosmique

Holiday manicure idea: Chanel nail polish / Hermes nail polish (used as a top coat) /

I love a little sparkle during the holiday season. That being said, understated sparkle is easier to wear daily. Since I was using this Hermes nail polish as a top coat throughout the summer and fall seasons, I decided to give it a go and continue using it during the holiday season.

Although not a technical top coat, this nail polish is clear with sparkles. It adds a subtle, festive look to this holiday nail polish from Chanel. Love that!

My favorite nail polish this holiday is Chanel Cosmique. It’s a beautiful, deep purple with a blue base. I feel like combing it with Hermes Blanc Orage Irise gives it just the right dimension. It’s also subtle enough to wear daily without looking like I am heading to a party.

What do you think of this holiday manicure idea?

Thanks for stopping by, and stay tuned for more holiday season coverage!

Cardigan sweater and jeans for fall

wearing: CZ earrings / cardigan sweater / holiday nail polish / caramel top handle handbag / wide leg jeans / boots / Necklaces I am asking Santa for: top / middle / bottom /

“You Matter” Isn’t this is a sweet photo opp inside Valley Fair Mall? I didn’t realize I was blocking the letters until after we took the photos. Otherwise, I would have shown them all to you! Also, apologies for the tilted pictures, my mom took these photos with my iPhone and had the phone tilted.

My mom and I decided we needed pasta. So, we went to Eataly for just that! Alas, when I sat down and read the menu, it had changed. My favorite dishes had disappeared. So, I went with lasagna, which is always a solid stand-by.

The weather had finally cooled down, so I was able to wear my cozy cardigan sweater. It was nice to wear something cozy and look at all the Christmas displays throughout the mall. ‘Tis the season! Love this! I also got some great ideas for gifts!

Well, if you are looking for a fabulous cardigan sweater you can wear right now, or to give as a gift, this one is one sale! So, I highly recommend it!

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to check out my holiday gift guides in the menu above for gift giving inspiration!
