Dolce & Gabbana’s new summer 2014 colors in their Classic Cream Lipstick are inspired by the nuances of Sicilian Roses as well as the velvety touch of their petals. For spring/summer 2014, Dolce & Gabbana have added twenty new colors to their Classic Cream Lipstick collection, taking the choice of colors up to forty-two!

Dolce & Gabbana have divided the Classic Cream Lipstick colors into six categories including, reds, oranges, corals, pinks and nudes. This ensures there is a color for every mood, skin-tone and look. Each lipstick is inspired by a particular Sicilian Rose; for example, “Mandorla” is inspired by the Alchemist Rose and “Star” is inspired by the Black Rose.

The Classic Cream Lipstick by Dolce & Gabbana is a favorite lipstick of mine. The formula is moisturizing; it never dries out the the lips. The color glides on smoothly without clumping or traveling. The color is true; it looks the same on the lips as it does in the tube. Love that!

Dolce & Gabbana was kind enough to send me six new colors from the spring/summer 2014 Classic Cream Lipstick collection to test out, and share with you! Below you will see “Mandorla,” “Delight,” “Petal,” “Devil,” “Fire” and “Scarlett.” All photos were taken in bright shade, outside, late morning with the same camera settings. These photos have not been edited.

Dolce & Gabbana has added a new finishing powder to their collection; the “Perfection Veil Pressed Powder.” This fabulous new make-up addition is light, luxurious and the perfect way to finish off your face!

Unlike a foundation powder or bronzer, Dolce & Gabbana’s “Perfection Veil Pressed Powder” offers a light, translucent radiance to the face which is natural and does not clog pores. Love that! The “Perfection Veil Pressed Powder” sets your foundation and concealer with an invisible touch which lasts throughout the day.

I tested out Dolce & Gabbana’s “Perfection Veil Pressed Powder” on warm days, cool days and rainy days. With each type of weather and air conditions, the “Perfection Veil Pressed Powder” by Dolce & Gabbana held up without allowing my face to shine or my foundation to melt. Love it!

Dolce & Gabbana’s “Perfection Veil Pressed Powder” is also a nice, light powder to wear on days when you do not want to wear foundation; it controls shine and offers a fresh faced look.

The new “Perfection Veil Pressed Powder” by Dolce & Gabbana is priced at $60 and can be found online here and here.

Dolce & Gabbana The Brow Liner eyebrow shaping pencil review

Photo: eyebrow shaping pencil c/o Dolce & Gabbana in “chesnut” and “mocha”

I have to admit, I am one of those eyebrow victims of the mid to late 1990’s. It was fashionable at that time to have your eyebrows waxed monthly into a thin line. I never went as thin as some women did; just thinner than natural. 😉 Sadly, when the trend ended and everyone went back to full eyebrows, my brows never grew back. So, in order to create an eyebrow which looks more “en vogue,” I need an eybrow shaping pencil!

Dolce & Gabbana’s new “The Brow Liner” eyebrow shaping pencil is exactly what my eyebrows needed. The pencil has an unique shape which allows me to fill in my eyebrows without making a mistake. In addition to a pencil, the opposite end of the “The Brow Liner” features a mascara-like brush which allows me to shape my eyebrows into the perfect arch. Love that!

Having both the pencil and brush on one stick makes it easy to create eyebrows in one step; and it is handy for traveling! The color is great and does not smudge during the day. At the end of the night, all I need to do it remove it with make-up remover. My eyebrows look as vibrant at night as they did in the early morning when I first applied Dolce & Gabbana’s “The Brow Liner.”

I am using Dolce & Gabbana “The Brow Liner” eyebrow shaping pencil in “chestnut” which is the perfect color for my eyebrows. The eyebrow shaping pencil also comes in a variety of colors, is priced at $45, and can be found online here.
