Dolce&Gabbana Makeup Artist Christian McCulloch worked with presenter Kate Hudson for the 72nd annual Golden Globe Awards.

“Kate epitomizes the ultimate golden California goddess,” said Christian about the look he created for Kate. “She’s a true beauty inside and out. Her makeup look was all about varying shades of tan, bronze and gold to complement her gown.”

Dolce & Gabbana has outdone themselves this time! For the holiday 2014 season, Dolce & Gabbana has launched a beautiful collection of make up aptly named the “Make Up Collector’s Edition.” This fabulous collection offers exclusive casing which is ideal for gift-giving; or for the collector like me! The beauty products in Dolce & Gabbana’s holiday collection are classic pieces which are iconic in their own right.

The collection includes collector’s editions of Dolce & Gabbana’s Bronzer, Illuminator, lipstick in “Real Red,” Perfect Mono Eye shadow in “Pure Bronze” and “Pure Gold,” nail polish in “Lover” and a fabulous special edition of “The One.” This entire collection is limited and will only be available for a short time. I am so thrilled to have a piece of it!

“The One” is one of my all-time favorite fragrances. I have gone through a few bottles of it already, so this special edition version of The One is exciting! The nail polish in “Lover” is a fabulous cherry red which is timeless, and ideal to keep in one’s nail polish collection. I am also a huge fan of Dolce & Gabbana’s “Illuminator,” so this fabulous special edition version features the imprint of an ancient coin is thrilling!

The ancient coin imprinted on the Illuminator and on the Bronzer represents a journey of discovery Dolce & Gabbana have gone through in Ancient Sicily and the Greek culture; where the designing duo takes much of their inspiration. The profile of Greek God Athena is imprinted on the coin. She represents wisdom, courage, civilization and intelligence. She also personifies the voyage to Sicily’s roots and captures the precious characteristics which have helped define the entire “Make Up Collector’s Edition” for the holiday 2014 season.

Dolce & Gabbana has introduced skin care to their beauty collection! This luxurious collection of skin care includes daily skin moisturizer, eye gel, SPF protection and skin cleansers. As a huge fan of Dolce & Gabbana’s make-up line, I was thrilled to hear the designing duo branched out to skin care.

I have spent the better part of my life outdoors. This means my skin has taken a beating from sun, wind and swimming pool chemicals. As my skin ages, I am also aware of fine lines and loss of radiance in my overall skin tone. Dolce & Gabbana’s new skin care collection promises to restore radiance, prevent and reduce fine lines, moisturize and protect skin from the sun through SPF protection. Love that!

I tested out Dolce & Gabbana’s new Cleansing Oil, Aurealux Eye Gel and Aurealux Cream. I have to admit, I am impressed! I have tried a variety of skin care products over the years, and very few have caught my attention. Dolce & Gabbana’s products worked extremely well on my aging, combination skin. I did not break out with any blemishes from using the cream and my skin stayed stabilized; no excess oil, love that! I saw my fine lines diminished and my skin moisturized and balanced within one week of use. The cleansing oil was gentle and made my skin squeaky clean; without stripping it of essential oils.

I am excited about Dolce & Gabbana’s new skin care line and look forward to trying other products from the collection; especially the mask!
