Well, it certainly has been cold for California the past few weeks! With the current drought, our weather has been warmer than usual the past few winters, so when now that our normal winter temperatures have rolled in this year, it seems really cold!

We enjoyed a family lunch at Pacific Catch in Cupertino the other day on their patio. This meant we needed to bundle up in order to stay warm while eating outside. I was so concerned with making sure my outfit was warm enough, I completely forgot to put on earrings in the morning! Have you ever done that? Every once in a while, I forget to put them on. I didn’t realize I forgot until I looked at these photos! haha

This puffer jacket is turning out to be my favorite item of the season. It’s comfortable, soft, and keeps me at the perfect temperature. I also love how fashionable and fabulous it looks. Love!

These leather gloves are a lifesaver on cold days. I originally purchased them a few years ago to wear at New York Fashion Week in February since it’s cold at the winter shows. They are tech gloves and allow you to use your phone without taking them off. Love that fashion technology! These gloves are also lined, so they are cozy and warm. I always have them with me during the winter season.

Happy New Year! Well, it’s here! 2022 has arrived, and I am hopeful this is the year that all negative things end, and positive vibes abound. In these photos I’m standing in front a cheerful, colorful storefront which is currently closed at Santana Row. It has a bright and happy colorful covering on the storefront windows, along with a cheeky “Press for Positivity” pretend button. It’s perfect for 2022 vibes. Love it!

I am positive the new year will bring joy to everyone around the world. To celebrate these uplifting vibes, I am wearing my periwinkle sweater, in the color of 2022 “Very Peri” of course. I have decided this is my good luck sweater for the new year. It will bring positive events, vibes, and good things. Love!

This is the California Casual look I wore to visit with my friend Dawn from Fashion Should Be Fun at Santana Row over the holiday break. We enjoyed a light brunch at Cocola, talked our heads off, walked around, and of course-took pictures of our outfits. We are bloggers after all. haha

Dawn enjoyed a croissant and cappuccino, and I enjoyed a croissant sandwich with tomato, mozzarella, and basil paired with house coffee. Yum! It was perfect for a cold, wintery morning before the rain started.

If you have been following along, you know I have been having foot pain from an injury. I was able to walk around, pain-free, in these lug sole boots the entire time. Plus, my foot was fine the rest of the day. Love that! There is nothing better than an on-trend pair of shoes which also provide support and comfort. Perfection.
