Sacramento trip day one

We are in Sacramento! Earlier this month I joined Broadway San Jose and additional content creators for a quick trip to Broadway Sacramento. We enjoyed a performance of “Some Like it Hot!” and had the opportunity to interview both cast and crew members. Stay tuned for details!

We traveled to Sacramento by Amtrak; which I have to say, was much more relaxing than driving up there! After our train adventure, we settled into our hotel and enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Cafeteria 15L. The tater tots were delicious and my entree, Rigatoni Bolognese, was divine. Yum! If you are ever in the Sacramento area, be sure to stop in for a meal, it’s so good!

After dinner, we headed over to the Safe Credit Union Performing Arts Center. The venue was built a few years ago and has the modern technology needed to ensure ideal acoustics. Love that!

“Some Like it Hot!” was absolutely amazing, and slightly different than the movie. That being said, I will not give out any spoilers because I want you to pick up tickets and see the show when it arrives here in San Jose in October. You will love it!

Well, since I can’t give out any spoilers, please stay tuned for more details and the interviews! They will post later this week on Instagram and here on the blog.

Thanks for stopping by and visit BroadwaySanJose.com for show details and ticket information. I hope you pick up tickets for the show! It’s a must-see!

Some Like It Hot Throwback Party

Broadway San Jose hosted a fun Throwback Party at Pruneyard Cinemas in Campbell to celebrate the upcoming performance of Some Like It Hot! October 21-26 in San Jose. It was so much fun to meet fellow Broadway fans and get a chance to see the original movie starring Marilyn Monroe on the big screen.

The event featured a delicious buffet, live jazz music, signature drinks, and vintage vibes. It was amazing to see the movie on the big screen. I have seen it on TV many times, but never a large screen. I never thought I would see a classic movie in the theater; it was such an amazing opportunity and definitely a bucket list item! Love!

If you haven’t seen the Marilyn Monroe movie, definitely watch it on TV! Also, be sure to snap up tickets for Some Like It Hot, the Broadway show, at Broadway San Jose before they sell out! This is going to be a popular show!!

Head over to BroadwaySanJose.com for tickets and information.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you love the show!

Moulin Rouge! Broadway San Jose

Moulin Rouge! is right here in San Jose now through Sunday! It was so much fun attending the premiere last night and getting a chance to have a date night with my hubby. Love that!

We enjoyed arriving early to the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts and exploring the lobby. After grabbing a glass of wine, we admired art inspired by Moulin Rouge! and also the Moulin Rouge! themed shop. We even spotted a few guests dressed in theme, including a man in a sparkling blazer and top hat! What fun!

The show itself was amazing. I love the lights and the set, and of course, the singing! Satine’s voice was out of this world. She was played by Arianna Rosario. Her voice was beautiful!

If you live in the Bay Area, or you are visiting right now, don’t miss out! Grab your tickets for a performance this week at BroadwaySanJose.com.

Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy the show!
