Spring nail polish is hitting store shelves! I love the variety of colors for spring. There is something for everyone this warm weather season whether you are looking for color, something vampy, or an unexpected hue, there are a lot of choices. Love that!
As we move into 2026, the anonymous handbag continues to reign supreme. Neutral ensembles are also continuing with subtle pops of color here and there. Keep your eyes peeled for shades of white, blue, green, pink, and all the neutral hues.
Wondering about jeans? Anything goes in 2026. I keep hearing skinny jeans are making a comeback, but I have not seen this phenomenon on the streets. My eyes see wide leg jeans, in varying widths, on all ages, around the Bay Area. I will keep you posted if anything changes. What is stocked in stores doesn’t always make it to the streets. So, let’s watch this!
Stay tuned for more in 2026! Thanks for stopping by!
The new year is in full swing! A new year calls for new investment bags, pearl jewelry, fun nail polish, and a floral fragrance. Love!
This new spring nail polish from Dior is fabulous! My full review, with swatches of both spring colors, is coming next week. So stay tuned!
As spring starts to appear on store shelves, we are starting to see minor pops of color, shades of white, more anonymous handbags, pearl jewelry, and more floral based fragrances being featured by stores. It will be fun to see which trends dominate the sales floor!
Stay tuned for everything spring 2026 as we move into the new year! Trend report hits the blog next week!
Happy New Year! As we move into 2026, we are continuing to covet neutrals, classic style, and a move towards more professional attire when it comes to the office. Love that!
Raise your hand if you are excited to see professional attire making a comeback. My hand is way up! Sorry not sorry. I don’t like seeing people in sweatpants rolling into the office. Trousers, a skirt, a dress; dressed up denim; all of those styles look put together and involve a small amount of effort. It’s not too much to ask. As Silicon Valley brings people back into the corporate office, and away from their home office, expect to see a return to professional attire in the new year. I am here for it!
Wondering what will trend in the new year so you can organize and shop your closet? Here are a few incoming trends to watch for and pull from your closets.
As I mentioned, a return to professional attire is coming, if it hasn’t already hit your company. Know it’s on its way! Pearls are hot. This understated jewel plays well with professional attire and daily outfits. You can wear pearls day into evening; casual or dressy. Love pearl jewelry!
Shades of white and blue, While shades of white echo the color of 2026, Cloud Dancer, shades of blue are on the rise again. Think calming skies, water, and beach for inspiration.
Continue with your anonymous handbag. Logos are still out, and there is a continued move away from overpriced designer goods which no longer offer the quality that used to justify the price. Think quality, timeless style, and something which won’t break the bank. Oh, and there is a micro-trend to wear old IT bags from the early 2000’s. So, pull out that old Balenciaga City tote, it’s cool again.
Texture is making a comeback. Think mixed fabrics and dimension in your outfits. Also, the brooch! I’ve mentioned this over the past two years, well, in 2026 the brooch allegedly is really back. So, pull your vintage brooches to the front of your jewelry box. If you don’t already own one, stay tuned before buying one just to make sure what was on the runway hits the streets.
Watch for pops of color! Continue to wear and invest in neutrals, just stay tuned for adding small pops of color as we move into spring. I am already seeing mint, blue, and pink trending! Love!
