Is everyone in a beach mood? I know I am! Shades of blue and green are hot right now, as well as this straw tote and these comfy espadrilles which evoke a seaside vibe. Love that!

This summer is also all about investment dressing and building a timeless wardrobe with pieces which transcend fleeting trends. I am loving luxurious materials and impeccable craftsmanship. If you missed it earlier this week, I reviewed my new Mulberry Amberley and have fallen in love with the Mulberry brand. They offer timeless styles, exceptionable materials and craftsmanship while being eco-conscious. Love that! Check out my review here.

If you have some time off next week consider shopping your closet and finding items to either donate, sell, or move to the front of your closet. After you organize what you have, make a shopping list for fall. The Nordstrom sale is coming up in July and you’ll be able to snap up a handful of items for your wardrobe at a discount. Love discounts! I am researching what is on sale as we speak, so stay tuned for my curated Nordstrom Anniversary Sale shopping list!

As you shop your closet, take a peek at the fall color trends here to help you decide what to store or move to the front of your closet. Also remember to continue storing logo-wear. They will eventually be trendy again, just be patient if you are a logo-fan.

Happy summer season! As you know, summer 2023 is all about classic style and investment dressing. Love that! So classic investment handbags are trending as well as timeless accessories and fun nail colors.

You don’t have to live in a neutral world when it comes to an anonymous handbag. Feel free to invest in handbag colors which make you happy. Love green like me? Grab a green bag! Is yellow your summer color? Pick up a bag in yellow! The only rule with investment dressing is to stay away from logos, and overly trendy styles. OK fine, that’s two rules. haha

This weekend is a good time to shop your closet for fall. I know I know, we just started summer, but the Nordstrom sales will start next month, and it is a great time to pick up basics, workout clothing, pajamas, and other wardrobe essentials. Look at your closet and see what needs to be replaced, what you don’t wear, and what doesn’t fit. Donate or store what you remove and then start making a list of what needs replacing. I will post more details in July, but right now, start with the basics!

The designer sales are in full swing! My absolute favorite designer sale right now is from Mulberry. They are a classic handbag brand based in England which implements eco-friendly manufacturing practices. I love their excellent quality and craftsmanship, as well as their strong attention to clean manufacturing processes. If you haven’t checked out the brand yet, please do! You can learn more here.

The black saddle bag pictured above, is the one I just picked up. I am so excited about it! Mulberry has been on my wish list for quite some time, and I was thrilled to find a classic and chic, black handbag, on major sale! They have so many classic styles on sale right now. It is the seasonal colors on sale, the styles are not being discontinued. This means you can pick up a timeless handbag for less money. Love that! Mulberry handbags are truly investment handbags, so you will have the bag forever. Love!

This year, style is all about investment dressing and classis styles. As a recession looms, it is important to spend wisely on timeless items you can wear for years and years, instead of fleeting trends.
