Nail polish is hot this year! As soon as Chanel released their summer nail polish, the collection sold within days. Thankfully there are still a handful of colors left online here. But, if you love a color, snap it up now because they are selling fast!

It’s amazing how popular nail polish is in 2026. I am not used to nail polish collections selling out within a week after being introduced. It isn’t just Chanel selling out, Hermes and Dior have had sell outs as well. If you have trouble locating a color, let me know. I can try and locate it for you in stock; of course, no guarantees. If you see a color you love, snap it up right away!

In addition to nail polish being hot, the anonymous handbag, investment dressing, and heavier fragrances are all hot right now. Yes, that’s right, heavier fragrances. I have even heard rumors that leaving a fragrance trail behind is coming back in style! It was how we wore fragrance in the 1990s, and it seems to be making a comeback. Think gourmands and woody fragrances.

The BAF Weekly List is here! In case you didn’t notice, I dropped the “IT” since the IT era is currently over, and we are moving into an era of investment dressing, quality over brand names, and personal style. We are steering clear of matching everyone in the room, and we are making our understated, personal style statement. Love this!

I have always been into investment dressing, but I did get caught up in the IT era. I was mixing IT items with my timeless style which made my personal style a little hard to keep up with. Thankfully, the pendulum has swung back, and I am grounding myself to stick to my true style mantra; invest in something you can wear forever, or until it wears out and breaks. haha

As we move through the summer season, and towards fall, continue to invest in logo-free handbags, quality and style over brand name, and pieces you truly love. Play with prints, pops of colors, and styles you love. I am currently in my boot era. When the Nordstrom sale hits later this month, I will be all over the boot section! haha That being said, stay tuned for my report of what looks good at the sale.

Happy Friday! With the “IT Era” on pause, I am renaming this weekly list to simply the “BAF Weekly List.” Next week’s graphic will reflect the updated the new name. In an era of returning to simplicity, I feel like this edited name works well.

That being said, let’s chat summer! The warm weather season is in full swing, and nail polish is the item of the moment. As oceanic hues sell out faster than we can blink, Chanel is giving us not two, not four, but eight new nail polish colors for the summer season. Wow! These new colors are en route to me, so stay tuned for my review next week. Although, some of the colors are starting to sell out. You can find some of the collection online here, and the rest online here. I also linked them up below.

In addition to excessive choices in nail color, the summer season is giving us neutrals mixed with fun prints and pops of color. We are also enjoying beautiful handbags and nostalgia for IT bags from a bygone era. This is a great season to go into your handbag archives and pull out an old favorite. Or, if there was a bag that passed you by, find the remake or buy it vintage online here.
