Can you believe the 4th of July is almost here?! I’m not quite sure where the time has gone. To celebrate this patriotic season, why not invest in a fabulous red, white, or blue handbag! It will be the perfect way to complete your 4th of July look. Love that!

The top three bags in the photo set above are on my wish list. Aren’t they fabulous?! The white shoulder bag also comes in red, and it is absolutely stunning in person. That blue triangle bag is a cult favorite. Triangles are starting to emerge as an important shape in handbags; this is the one that put triangle bags on the map!

Red, white, and blue are handbag colors which are also being shown in the fall collections. Some of these bags are pre-fall, and even fall 2018! So, if you do invest in a red, white or blue handbag, it will have longevity. I’m loving white bags for the fall season. Of course, I’m a sucker for a red bag in the fall too; oh, and blue is my favorite color!

I’m loving backpacks. and shoulder bags which double as cross body bags, for the 4th of July. They are so easy to carry around while attending all the fun festivities on Independence Day!

Now that summer is in full swing, my fitness routine has been on track. I’m so excited to be able to announce I have already lost four pounds! Yay!!

Although my clothing sizes haven’t changed, I feel good knowing what I am doing is working. I have been getting in five workouts per week, and counting all of my calories in the MyFitnessPal app. I have also been trying to avoid sweets; although it’s hard with all the kids home from school in the summer. They love getting ice cream to cool down. I have to make sure I watch that; I really love ice cream!

This top is turning out to be my favorite summer tee. It’s a tee with a twist! It has all the comfort of a tee-shirt, without looking frumpy or basic. I love the little front twist. I paired it with my red earrings because I was starting to feel the 4th of July vibe. It also looks cute with white earrings, silver, gold, or rose gold. Love!

There are so many ways to wear this cute little tee. It looks great with shorts, denim skirts, white skirts, and casual trousers. The back of the shirt has a little bit of elastic which keeps the waist in place so it doesn’t flop wide like a crop top. It’s amazing that it is priced under $20! Love that detail!

Nautical stripes are so classic, and front twists are a hot summer trend. I love that this top features a classic stripe pattern with an on-trend twist. Are you wearing the twist tee trend this summer? What do you think of it?

Logo bags for 2018

Well, it appears that logo bags are here to stay; at least for now. I thought the logo bag trend was fleeting, but designers seem to be loving it and showcasing various logo designs in future collections. So, at least for 2018, the logo bag is here to stay.

There are several ways to wear the logo bag trend. You can go with a traditional “CC” on a Chanel bag or “GG” on a Gucci bag, or you can go the very trendy route and opt for the entire designer’s name written on the bag. As you can see in the examples above, designers are making sure their names are the focal point of their bags.

The trendy logo bags we are seeing for 2018 tend to be more casual then the traditional small logos displayed on a bag’s clasp. This makes the current crop of logo bags easy to wear everyday and on the weekends. If you are looking for something fun to wear everyday, and don’t mind a one to two season bag, then a logo bag might be your thing!
