YSL Asphalt Grey nail polish spring 2017 review

Nail polish for spring 2017 is quite different than in previous spring seasons. We are seeing a large number of grey nail polishes, pale pinks, whites, and neons for the warm weather season. While there are many shades of grey out there in the nail polish marketplace, none quite compare to the medium-dark grey hue created by YSL for the spring 2017 season.

YSL Asphalt Grey nail polish is in the perfect place on the grey color wheel. It is not too dark, nor is it too light. It is just right.

This is the first time I have purchased nail polish by YSL. I have used a few of their cosmetics before, but never before have I tried Yves Saint Laurent nail colour. The nail polish went on smoothly, and the brush was a good, manageable size to work with. With two coats, YSL nail polish not streaky; and left a solid, smooth color on my nails. Love!

I tested out YSL Asphalt Grey nail polish for spring 2017 with one base coat, two coats of color, and no top coat. The polish last six days before chipping. This is a decent length of time considering I was not wearing a top coat.

YSL Grey Asphalt is a great nail colour for the spring 2017 season. It is a neutral hue; making it easy to wear with any of the seasons color palettes, plus, there is something fresh about the color grey. I know, grey? fresh? Yup. It feels fresh and right this season. Who knew?

Kendra Scott Slate Grey nail polish review

Kendra Scott nail polishes are some of my favorite polishes! This beautiful grey hue named “Slate Grey,” is a fabulous neutral hue which is perfect during any season of the year. My friend Dawn of FashionShouldBeFun.com gave me this bottle for Christmas; she definitely knows what’s hot, and what I like!

Slate Grey by Kendra Scott is extremely easy to wear on a daily basis. This color plays well with the current winter color palette, as well as spring’s incoming hues. It is a nice, medium grey shade which works as the perfect neutral. Love that!

I tested out Kendra Scott Slate Grey nail polish with one base coat, two coats of color, and no top coat. Like other Kendra Scott polishes, Slate Grey lasted a full week without chipping! It is always a good thing when a five free polish does not chip. So many of them do, but not Kendra Scott! Her five free nail polish collection is as chip resistant as a nail polish could be. Love that!

Kendra Scott Slate Grey nail polish is a great staple for one’s polish collection. You can find Slate Grey by Kendra Scott online here.

Christian Louboutin Loubichrome spring 2017 nail polish review

Christian Louboutin nail polish is hotter than hot; but oftentimes the price tag is bit off-putting. So for spring 2017, Christian Louboutin created a collection of mini’s, which are not that mini, and priced them at a competitive $30 a bottle. Love that!

This is a price point people expect to pay for luxury nail polish. Most premiere designers offer their nail colour at a price tag between $25-$35, so at $30 a bottle, Christian Louboutin has hit a price point home run.

For spring 2017, Christian Louboutin’s nail polish collection, Loubichrome, offers three bright nail polish hues. No beige or vamp for Louboutin this spring! The three colors are neon yellow, vivid fuchsia, some may call it neon violet, and a neon watermelon hue. These are not shy colors!

My favorite color of the Christian Louboutin Loubichrome collection is color number Iii, which is the neon fuchsia hue. This also happens to be the color selling out first from stores. If you want it, you can still find it in stock online here and online here.

I tested out Christian Louboutin Loubichrome Iii nail polish with one base coat, two coats of color, and no top coat. The polish lasted a full week! The week I wore it I took down my Christmas decorations, and my nail polish did not chip. Love that!

It seems as though the brush has been modified for spring 2017 as well. The brush in my Christian Louboutin Loubichrome mini was not as skinny as in other bottles I own of Christian Louboutin nail polish. It was still thin, but much easier to use. Love!

This is a great color alternative to spring 2017’s collection of grey’s, beige’s, pale pinks, and vampy colors. Sometimes you just need to brighten up the day! One of the Loubichrome nail polish colors will do just that!

The color I chose, Loubichrome Iii, is selling out quickly. If this is your favorite color from the collection, you can find it in stock online here and online here. Act quickly though, it is gone at most stores already! You can also find the remaining collection online here.

Which color from the Christian Louboutin Loubichrome spring 2017 nail polish collection is your favorite?
