Although the sun has been shining, the mornings are cool and the window of warmth in the afternoon is short. That’s winter for you! I am thankful for this warm and cozy peacoat so I can stay warm in this winter season.

Since the sun has been shining, I am in the mood to brighten up my wardrobe. This bright blue sweater is perfect for adding some spring color to my winter look. Also, it’s been fun wearing my old Balenciaga City bag! I love that it is back in style. More about that here.

I wore this cozy outfit to Stanford Shopping Center last week to see if anything new for spring has sprung up on store shelves and also enjoy a delicious lunch. Sorry to report, the stores were mostly winter.

Did you know there is a Dumpling Time at Stanford Shopping Center? It’s tucked away in a corner, so if you didn’t know it was there, now you do! I plan to go back when the weather warms up because they have an amazing outdoor patio. I am sure you already know about their delicious xlb and other dumplings, but you must try the Beijing Noodles too. They are really yummy!

If you want a classic peacoat, this one is at a fabulous price under $100! Love that!

Did you ever think the Balenciaga City bag would make a comeback? I sure didn’t! I am starting to see them on street; old and new. There is trend to find one on the secondary market as well as buy new. It seems this IT bag from yesteryear is hotter than hot this year! So, if you have one, pull it out from the back of your closet. If not, invest in one now! I love mine; you can see my recent review here.

In addition to old IT bags making a comeback, the anonymous handbag is still going strong and continues to be the ultimate IT bag of 2026. So, keep investing in beautiful bags high in quality and not overpriced. Also, continue to stay away from logos.

Spring nail polish, neutral yet comfy sneakers, pearl jewelry, and floral fragrances are also hot right now. Classic style is hot! Love that!

Classic navy shirt dress

While the rest of the country was buried in snow, we had some spring weather peek through last weekend. Sorry east coast!

Since the weather was mild, and we were attending an event, I decided to dress for spring, and it was perfect! The temps were in the mid-sixties, and we enjoyed a buffet lunch outside. I didn’t need a wrap, sweater or jacket. Bring on the spring weather!

This shirt dress is not only comfortable, it is the perfect go-to for daytime events and the office. I will definitely be wearing it a lot during the spring and summer seasons. Love!

Since the shirt dress is timeless, this navy version can live on in my wardrobe for many years to come. Love that! If you don’t already own a shirt dress, I highly recommend investing in one. You won’t regret it!
