Espadrille season is here! These warm weather shoes are perfect for warm days and walking on the beach. They also tend to be soft and comfy. Love that!

If you are like me, and you have planter fasciitis, you either need some arch support, and/or a slight heel in your shoe to support your foot. I need both! The pair of espadrilles featured above are perfect since they have a slight heel, which supports my foot, and I can also wear an arch support band with them. This makes walking around in espadrilles something I can do pain-free. Love! Of course, if I need to do a lot of walking, I stick to my sneakers with my orthotics inserted. But I digress. . .

If you haven’t already heard, this year is all about investment dressing. Stick to classic and timeless accessories which are quiet and anonymous. The logomania trend is over. Store your loud logos and look for high quality, timeless jewelry and handbags. You will save money in the long run by not always shopping to keep up with the trends. Timeless style is hashtag goals.

Summer is here! This warm weather season, I am embracing smaller bags as my children are all teenagers and no longer in the habit of handing me things to carry. haha I can get through the day with my wallet, phone, keys, lipstick, and kleenex in my handbag. Love that!

Of course, the summer season is also a time when a fabulous tote bag is in order. I love having my small straw tote as well as a roomy tote I can carry tons of random items in. This large tote bag is perfect for my daily purse essentials as well as a scarf or cardigan for when the fog rolls in, a book, a water bottle, sunscreen, and snacks. It is made from sturdy leather and easy to wipe clean, since it is pebble leather.

The anonymous handbag trend is easy to follow this summer since I have never been a huge logo person anyway. I love wearing high quality handbags which speak for themselves instead of advertising who made them. While the anonymous handbag is considered a trend right now, it is a classic style which technically transcends trends in the long term. So, it really is an investment bag style versus a fleeting trend.

Now now, I know you are looking at that Tory Burch logo and Loewe logo asking me if I am blind. haha, I see them! If we drill down, I find those two logos to be more decorative that to be loud logos. While they are recognizable, I don’t feel like they are advertising, if that makes sense. Feel free to sound off in the comments!

I am back on my espadrille kick! Espadrilles are my favorite summer shoe because they are soft, and the fabric allows your feet to breath. Also, with planter fasciitis, you can wear espadrilles if they have a wedge and you also wear a support band on your foot. Test this out at home before leaving the house to ensure it works for your particular planter fasciitis case. Also, bring a backup pair of sneakers with your orthotics inside just in case the espadrilles and band aren’t cutting it. I leave my sneakers in the trunk of my car in case I need to switch them out. So far, I haven’t’ had to do that! Yay!

Green, in any shade, is huge right now, so I picked up these mint green dunks when Nike offered design-your-own dunks. It will be fun to wear mint green sneakers this summer. It is such a pretty color!

My summer will be fairly casual, so I am not including my high heels in this post. Of course, I do keep a classic black pair in my closet just in case!
