Fall is in the air! Well, theoretically at least. It is still a furnace outside with no relief in sight, but a girl can dream about fall, right? Yes, as I dream about fall, I am crushing on the current trends for the autumn season which can also withstand the test of time.

This Pendleton sweater, and this soft, denim skirt are both fabulous pieces for the fall season. I am also loving classic black boots and Mary Janes. The anonymous handbag is also red hot on the streets as well as classic jewelry.

Nail polish for fall is playing with traditional autumn hues in shades of brown, orange and red. This makes the nail polish trends for fall easy to wear daily, as well as to the office. Love that!

Is it fall yet? I am so done with summer weather; fall cannot come soon enough! That being said, I am all set for fall! This autumn season, casual style is classic style. We are seeing timeless Pendleton sweaters, stripes inspired by nautical design, and denim which is being shown in classic, wide leg, and flare cuts.

I am a sucker for sweaters, so when I spotted this thick and cozy Pendleton sweater for fall, I knew I needed it in my life! It is a classic beige hue with a touch of red which will make it easy to wear with a fall color palette. It is definitely the hero piece of my casual fall capsule wardrobe for the fall 2923 season! Love!

In addition to sweaters, the denim pencil skirt is hot, which is fabulous because I am all about casual style. In early fall, when temperatures are still warm, this denim pencil skirt will pair well with my stripe sweater and loafers. Then, when temperature drop as fall moves on, it will look fabulous with boots and this Pendelton sweater over a long sleeve tee. The skirt will also translate into winter style! I plan to pair it with winter boots and my puffy black jacket, which you will see in the winter season!

Have you noticed? Mary Janes are hot right now. This classic shoe style began gaining momentum last year, and this year it is everywhere! The most sought-after pair of Mary Janes is the version produced by Prada, but instead of showing you a pair of shoes which are always out of stock, and to be frank, look like the majority of other Mary Janes on the market, I am showing you a moderately priced designer pair as well as a more affordable pair from one of my favorite brands.

The Mary Jane is a fabulous shoe style for the fall season. While you find both flat versions and 3″ versions of the Mary Janes on store shelves, the ultimate style this fall season offers a 1-2″ block heel. This is the perfect height because you can wear it for longer periods of time, and if you have foot issues like me, the shorter block heel offers more support than a flat shoe, and less pain than a traditional high heel with a 3″ heel. Love this!

This season, the traditional Mary Jane with one strap is the most sought-after style, but there are several other versions on the market if you’d like to spice things up. Personally, I love this affordable pair with two straps. It is the one I purchased for the fall season! You may also see versions with an ankle strap which are reminiscent of the Valentino Tango pump. So, if you have a pair in backstock, pull them forward! You can rock those this fall too! I have a pair I plan to pull out in red! Love!
