One of my favorite spring looks is a daytime floral dress. I love the ease of dressing with a dress. It really is a no-brainer way to create an outfit!
The small, blue floral print on this dress caught my eye. I also love the loose silhouette and peasant styling. It’s super comfortable, and I love that it was priced under $50! This is definitely a dress I plan to wear often this spring season, as well as into the summer months!

One of the biggest trends in denim this spring season is the embellished denim trend. I have always loved embellished denim, but have always been a little fearful that they would be hard to wear; or that I would somehow ruin the embellishments on the first day I wore them.
Now that my kids are getting older, I feel like I can wear nicer things without having to worry about getting my kids accidentally getting me dirty, or grabbing my clothing and tearing something. I have to admit, I have been pretty lucky. Although my kids have stained my clothing with pasta sauce covered hands, mud covered shoes, and spilled milk over the years, out of all three of my children, only my oldest actually broke something. When she was a toddler she grabbed my necklace and broke the chain. I think that is pretty good considering I have three active kids! But I digress. . .back to embellished jeans for spring!
I have always loved having a 1970s vibe in my personal style. So, when I spotted these embellished denim flares for spring, I thought they were the perfect pair of jeans for me to rock the embellished denim trend this season. Although flares aren’t the hottest denim silhouette this season, they are considered a classic style and can be worn this spring despite the fact that boyfriend and girlfriends jeans are the IT styles of the season. Flares are a great alternative to boyfriend, girlfriend, and cropped jeans.
This pair of embellished denim flares has a combination of embroidery and bead-work. The embellishments are full of color, and it is fun to pick up on of the colors and accessorize it. I pulled the yellow for my nails, and the mint green for my earrings. I went with my favorite go-to black tee, because, well, it’s is really comfortable and I love how it looks.
These jeans will be fun to wear throughout the season. They can be paired with platform espadilles and sandals. They can also be paired with all different colors of tee’s for the warm weather.

It’s so nice to finally see sunshine! Not only has the sun come out, but temperatures are pushing their way towards 70! Yippee!!! I am SO ready for warmer weather!
When I saw the sun shining the other day, I decided it was time to wear a skirt and tee! (please forgive my pasty white legs-I will work on that!) It felt amazing to wear my go-to espadrilles, a skirt, and a tee shirt. Well, until an icy wind spoiled all the fun! But I digress. . .
This was a great outfit to wear the other day, until the wind came around and made everything so very cold! I love a denim skirt in place of jeans for a casual day. Also, tee’s are my go-to tops in warmer weather, so it was nice to be able to find this one with these cute little ruffle sleeves. The ruffles really elevate it from a regular tee, to a really cool tee! 😉 I might have to pick up another one in a different color!
Lastly, I have to give a shout-out to this flower pot bag. I wore this outfit while strolling along Santana Row with my kids the other day and this bag was so easy to carry. It also had plenty of room for all the little things my daughter made me carry! haha It’s a super fun bag, and I find it amusing that it looks like a flower pot. Stay tuned, I will do a review on this bag very soon!
