Costello Tagliapietra showed their fall/winter 2015/2016 collection at New York Fashion Week on February 12, 2015 at The Pavillion in Lincoln Center. It was an incredible show featuring dark, traditional autumn hues on feminine fabrications mixed with menswear details. The entire collection was exquisite.

Costello Tagliapietra featured texture with soft silk, and warm wool, combined with heavy, menswear inspired footwear. There was a slightly retro vibe with wide leg trousers, tie-waist jackets, and school-girl jumpers.

I loved the texture, color palette, and jumpers. What do you think of the collection?

Nicholas K sent their autumn/winter 2015/2016 collection down the New York Fashion Week runway on Thursday February 12, 2015. The collection featured asymmetrical hemlines, menswear inspiration, and dark, autumnal hues. I loved the prints and color palette. What do you think of the collection?

New York Fashion Week is here! For the next week, models will strut down the runways in New York and show us what designers have created for the upcoming fall/winter 2015 season. It should be interesting to see what inspired designers for the next cold weather season, and how those inspirations translate to both apparel and accessories.

Will we see more 1970’s inspiration like we saw for spring 2015? Will the color palette be bright? Neutral? Pale? Traditional? We know the color for 2015 is Marsala, which is traditionally a fall color. I think the one prediction we can safely make is that Marsala will be on the runways!

I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will see more from the 1970’s. I would love to see more medium brown, trousers, long skirts, and boho-chic prints. What are you hoping to see on the runways for the fall and winter 2015 seasons?
