“Petal” by Dolce & Gabbana is a classic pink nail polish which is the perfect hue for the spring season. This medium pink shade plays well with spring 2014’s color palette of both bright colors and vivid pastels. “Petal” could be considered a neutral pink which makes it work with both cool and warm colors making it an easy color to wear everyday.

Dolce & Gabbana “Petal” is long lasting; I wore the nail polish with one base coat and two coats of color for seven days before seeing a chip. Love that! This is the perfect, classic pink nail polish to keep in one’s nail polish collection and enjoy for seasons come.

Dolce & Gabbana “Petal” nail polish is priced at $24 and can be found online here and here.

Dolce & Gabbana’s “Lilac” nail polish is a beautiful deep lavender hue which first came out in summer 2012 as part of Dolce & Gabbana’s “Bouquet Collection.” I originally purchased the “Mint” nail polish from the “Bouquet Collection” but have been eyeing the “Lilac” color ever since; and now I am excited to test it out!

“Lilac” by Dolce & Gabbana is a beautiful color which, despite having been introduced back in 2012, is perfect for spring/summer 2014. Spring 2014 is all about vivid colors and saturated pastels. “Lilac” fits perfectly into both color categories and blends well with both color palettes making it an easy color to wear everyday during the upcoming warm weather season. With “Radiant Orchid” being the color of the year, shades of pink and purple are perfect hues to integrate into anyone’s spring/summer 2014 wardrobe since they all play well together and blend into other colors from the season which include shades of blue, yellow and green.

I tested out Dolce & Gabbana’s “Lilac” by wearing it on my trip to New York Fashion Week. I wore “Lilac” with two coats of color, one base coat and no top coat. The nail polish was very long lasting and took me through my trip without chipping! Love that!

As with other nail polishes from Dolce & Gabbana’s “Bouquet Collection,” “Lilac” is matte and offers an understated nail polish look. There is even a slight sparkling undertone to the nail polish. Love it!

Dolce & Gabbana’s “Lilac” nail polish is priced at $24 and can be found online here and here.

Dolce & Gabbana Fuchsia nail polish review

Photo: Nail Polish c/o Dolce & Gabbana “Fuchsia” / two coats of color, one base coat, no top coat. Photo taken in overcast weather.

Dolce & Gabbana’s 1960’s and Sicilian influenced spring 2014 collection offered bright colors, mixed prints and bold accessories. To blend into the collection’s theme, Dolce & Gabbana’s beauty collection has been designed to match with warm hues and classic tones. “Fuchsia” from Dolce & Gabbana is a playful, orange-pink nail polish hue which works perfectly with the designing duo’s spring/summer 2014 color palette from the runway while offering a bright yet classic hue which is easy to wear on a daily basis.

Dolce & Gabbaba “Fuchsia” nail polish is a beautiful, slightly sheer nail polish hue with tinges of pink and orange blended together. The polish offers dimension and looks bright pink outside and inside; at night, the polish appears to be a medium, soft orange. The soft sparkle sheen within the nail polish offers dimension and a playful attitude. Love that!

I tested Dolce & Gabbana’s “Fuchsia” nail polish with one base coat and two coats of color; no top coat. The nail polish application is more sheer than a tranditional cream polish, thus leaving three of my fingers needing a third coat of polish. The end result is a beautiful, multi-dimentional color which changes from pink to orange in varying light sources. I also love how the light catches the subtle sparkles within the nail polish. As with all of Dolce & Gabbana’s nail polish colors, “Fuchsia” is long-lasting. The nail polish lasted a full seven days before one small chip appeared. The edges showed slight wear at six days. Love it!

I am looking forward to wearing Dolce & Gabbana’s “Fuchsia” nail polish as the weather warms up this season. The color will look amazing with the season’s pinks, yellows and blues.

Dolce & Gabbana’s “Fuchsia” nail polish is priced at $24 and can be found online here or here.
