Can you believe it is already October? Where is the time going? The weather is starting to cool down, and we are all stocking up on fall clothing and accessories. Hobo bags are proving to be the IT handbag silhouette of the season! If you have not invested in at least one hobo bag yet, what are you waiting for?

There are so many fabulous hobo bags on the market this season. It also looks like they will continue into 2023 as we saw many hobos on the spring 2023 runways. Love that! I recommend investing in a good neutral hue you can wear every day and in any season. I love black, ivory, and caramel. These hues transcend season. Love!

Western style boots are huge this fall season, and this comfy suede pair won’t break the bank. I can walk for miles in them; even with my hip and foot injuries! Love!

If you are in a warmer climate, and not ready to shop for cool weather clothing, the easiest way to update your wardrobe is with a handbag or fall nail polish. The darker fall nail polish hues are starting to fly off of store shelves, such as this dark red featured above.

This fall season, the styles are getting more dressed up! Blazers are a must for pairing with jeans, and jeans are moving away from skinny styles and towards joggers, wide leg jeans, flares, and bell bottoms. Boots are a fall staple, and this fall the streets are loving western styles, classic chelsea styles, and metallic hues. Also look for understated and neutral nails, as well as travel pieces such as this fabulous makeup bag + organizer which can be used daily at home, on the go, for the gym, and also for travel. Love it!

Handbags for fall are trending towards hobos, small or mini bags, and non-logo bags. This season, handbags are chic and classic. Look for beautiful leathers, faux leathers, craftsmanship, and fabrications. Flashy logos are over.

Fall is finally, officially, here! Yay! Too bad temperatures are back up in the nineties. Hopefully we get a fall weather pattern very soon! I am ready for warm tea, cool nights, and pumpkin spice everything. Don’t judge me. haha

Let’s get back on topic, what’s trending this week! Hobo bags are exploding. They are everywhere. If you haven’t snapped one up yet, now is the time to grab one that you love. Any style of hobo bag works well this fall season. Look for structured hobos, slouchy hobos, moon shaped hobos, and try to stick with neutral tones. Although many designers are showing hobos covered in logos, try to steer clear of the logo look and choose something in a beautiful leather or faux leather. Logo bags are not chic right now.

If you can only get one thing to update your fall wardrobe this year, make sure it is a blazer. A blazer, whether taken from a power suit, or in a tweed, is hotter than hot. Blazers are instant outfit elevators, updaters, and chic makers. You need a blazer in your life. The black tweed one I am showing above is priced under $100, so you don’t have to break the bank to rock the blazer look this fall. Love that!
