It’s almost summertime! May is here, and we are continuing to invest in lifelong handbags, jewelry, and shoes. Also, keep stocking up on classic clothing, but add some fun colors to the mix!

Bright hues are hot for summer. Pull out your bright blues, greens, pinks, yellow, orange, and red. Pops of color are “popping” up all over for the summer season. This not the season to dress in monochrome neutrals. Add a pop of color with nail polish, a handbag, or a new top! Love!

Colors, neutrals, pastels-anything goes this summer season! While we aren’t seeing prints and patterns, solid colors, pops of color, and neutral ensembles are hot this spring and summer seasons. The color palette is happy up lifting, love that!

Of course, I don’t need to repeat myself. You already know investment dressing is still hot and the best way to fill in your wardrobe for the long term. Keep on investing in pieces you love with longevity!

Do you feel like your wardrobe is in a good place, but you just want a quick update? Nail polish! You can easily update your current look with spring or summer nail polish. Mint green and medium blue are hot right now and the ultimate in nail trends. If you prefer something from the pink or orange family, shades of pink, orange, and coral are hot too!

Summer is looking lighthearted and fun! As we move through the spring season, the summer season is fast approaching. Like spring, the summer season will be offering us lighthearted hues and fun styles. We are still looking at classic, wide leg, and straight jeans or pants. Flats, ballet flats, loafers, and casual footwear are also hot for summer. The anonymous handbag and investing in long term clothing will also remain important as we move into the summer season. Love!

I love the fact that investment dressing continues since it is an important way to create the perfect wardrobe, save money and contribute to slower fashion. I don’t feel the urge to go back to following one season trends; do you?
