During New York Fashion Week, Kendra Scott opened her showroom up to appointments; allowing me to view the current fall 2015 collection. Kendra Scott also displayed the upcoming winter collection which will debut mid-October. (Watch for my coverage of this collection in October!)

Kendra Scott’s fall 2015 collection features variations on her classic collection; as well as new pieces which are sure to become instant classics. Many of the fall pieces are made with white howlite, or black banded agate; which puts an edgy spin on classic black or white. These pieces work well with any color combination; making them versatile and easy to wear this fall season. Love that!

I am in love with the white howlite pieces. I have a pair of earrings, a bracelet, and a necklace from Kendra Scott’s fall 2015 collection which are made from white howlite and set in silver. They work well with my summer into fall wardrobe, and also work perfectly with my fall wardrobe. Since they are white, these pieces will work well in any season.

Many of the pieces from Kendra Scott’s fall 2015 collection work well with pieces from previous seasons. This allows for easy layering.

Kendra Scott fall 2015 also shows mixed metals for the autumn season. Kendra Scott has mixed together silver, rose, gold, yellow gold, and black metals for the fall season. This adds to the versatility of her collection as it can be mixed and matched with almost anything. It also makes her collection easy to travel with. I wore this bracelet set everyday in New York since it matched all my earrings. Loved it!

Here are my favorite pieces from the Kendra Scott’s fall 2015 collection. Stay tuned for her winter collection which I will feature in October!

Chanel Fraicheur nail polish review

Chanel Fraicheur limited edition nail polish

Pictured: Chanel Fraicheur limited edition nail polish.

Chanel Fraicheur nail polish is a limited edition nail polish color released by Chanel in early fall. This shiny, mint green nail polish hue is playful, and a fun way to transition into fall from late summer.

The shiny mint green color of Chanel Fraicheur blends well with fall 2015’s neutral color palette; as well as autumn’s deep green hues. The pretty color brightens up dark or drab fall attire. Love that!

Chanel Fraicheur nail polish is also a playful color for the last few days of summer this year. It works perfectly with bright summer attire, and offers a contrast to the dark nail polish hues, and blue nail polish shades, which are so “of the moment.”

I tested out Chanel Fraicheur nail polish with one base coat, two coats of color, and one top coat. It lasted eight days before I needed to remove it due to nail growth. Love that!

My top coat deserves some credit for the chip-free test run of Chanel Fraicheur nail polish. It really was the star of the show! My review of this fabulous top coat is online here.

Chanel Fraicheur nail polish is limited edition. It is a great color to wear now, and again, when resort 2016 hits in late December, early January. This beautiful mint green hue will also brighten up a dreary winter day in December, January, or February!

For resort 2016, many designers are showing vivid colors, pastel hues, and muted tones. One of the more popular colors being shown for resort 2016 is mint green. Chanel has also included mint green in the resort 2016 color palette. This makes Chanel Fraicheur nail polish a fabulous color to invest in right now.

Chanel Fraicheur can be found online here.

I rate Chanel Fraicheur five out of five stars! Love!

Zimmermann spring 2016 New York Fashion Week

The Zimmermann spring 2016 collection shown during New York Fashion Week was absolutely amazing. The collection combined the prints, fabrications, texture, and drape we have come to love about Zimmermann’s collections, with the current trend towards higher hemlines. Love it!

One of the dominant trends on the spring/summer 2016 runways in New York was the short, 1960’s style hemline. Zimmermann showed this short hemline while keeping an earthy color palette and vibe.

The collection featured soft neutrals, soft blues, and delicate layers. The prints offered small patterns which were feminine and demure.

Zimmermann showed strappy shoes which hit mid-calf and came in colors to match the collection. The handbags were boxy and shown in both beige and soft blue. Loved it!
