Son Jung Wan fall 2018 New York Fashion Week

It is always a disco party at Son Jung Wan! I had to keep myself from getting up from my seat and dancing to the beat. There was definitely a party vibe as Son Jung Wan sent a fabulous fall/winter 2018/2019 collection down the New York Fashion Week runway at Spring Studios.

With a dash of classic chic, a sprinkle of avant-garde, and a teaspoon of disco, the fall 2018 collection from Son Jung Wan offered bold color, structure, luxury, glamour, and more. There were bell bottoms with contrasting pleated insets, texture on top of texture, exaggerated peplum, and silver sparkle; oh the sparkle!

Together, the individual pieces created fashion-forward statement looks, if separated, each piece could be integrated into one’s wardrobe to create fabulous updated outfits. This is a beautiful collection to invest in!

Can I just tell you? I am a huge Real Housewives fan, and I was standing in line before the show behind Margaret from Real Housewives of New Jersey. It was so much fun seeing her attending the show and sitting front row. I have been on her side this season during Soggy-Flicker-Gate. Although I don’t condone name-calling, she was forced to apologize way too many times, and never had any ill-intent. I truly felt like she was the one being bullied. Love her! So fun!!

But I digress. . . Son Jung Wan’s fall 2018 was outstanding. I am in love with the yellow look pictured above as well as the bold blue one. I dream of them both appearing in my closet. The whole collection is fabulous! Love it!

You can learn more about Son Jung Wan at her website, SonJungWan.com.

Which look from the runway is your favorite?

VII Code O2M oxygen eye mask for all night review

I’m in New York! The night before I fly, I can’t get a wink of sleep. Then I get on a plane, and I can’t get a wink of sleep on the plane! My flight to New York was a five hour plane ride, and without sleep, I was exhausted. One of the drawbacks to lack of sleep, and exhaustion, is puffy eyes accompanied by dark circles. Ugh!

My favorite way to combat tired, puffy eyes, and dark circles, while fighting fine lines, is to wear an eye mask. I have tried several eye masks, and none of them seem to work. When VII Code sent me their eye mask to try, I was hooked! It actually reduced my puffy eyes, and dark circles! My skin looks smoother too. Love that!

The VII Code overnight eye mask is really easy to use. The mask uses pads instead of being in a jar you have to stick your finger into in order apply. The pads are packaged in convenient trays which keep them nice, flat, and ready to use. After you wash your face, you simply take the pads from the tray, peel off the protective plastic, and apply. It’s so easy! They feel cold when you first apply them, and then the pads feel comfortable and are easy to wear. I’m hooked!

VIIcode eye mask is different from other sheet masks, you can wear them for 8 hours at night. The best time to wear them is while you are sleeping. I wore them overnight the first night in my hotel and my eyes loved it!

This overnight eye mask by VII Code is a must-have for travel. It fixed my tired, sleep-deprived eyes and refreshed me for the morning. Now, I am ready to take on New York!

You can find the VII Code O2M oxygen eye mask, which you can wear overnight, online here.

New York Fashion Week is underway, and this means the hottest new trends for the fall/winter 2018/2019 season are being shown to us! Of course, my favorite trend to know about ahead of time are the trends in colors.

Pantone has released their seasonal color report today, showing us the top ten colors for the fall 2018 season, as well as the top five neutral or “classic” hues we need to be wearing in the fall 2018 season, and in winter 2019!

Of course, we knew we would see the color of 2018 in the color palette for the next cold weather season; Ultra Violet. In addition to lavender, and ultra violet, designers are showing both a fall yellow hue, and a bright, cherry yellow shade. Yellow has been emerging over the past couple of seasons as an important color in fashion; this means it is time to start adding this happy hue to our wardrobes! If you don’t like to wear yellow, try a handbag or a pair of shoes!

My favorite colors from the palette are Ultra Violet, Nebulas Blue, and Quetzal Green. Which colors are you drawn towards?

Is anyone else glad to see that blush has finally dropped off the color palette? It’s a pretty color, but seemed to stick around too long; in my opinion.

Stay tuned! I am in New York attending fashion week, and will bring you runway coverage as the week progresses.

Thanks for stopping by!
