Happy National Flip Flop Day! Summer 2018 is here, which means it is time to find that perfect pair of flip flops! Flips flops are fabulous summer sandals. They can be worn at the beach, the pool, and on the street. There are so many styles of flips flops on the market, you are sure to find the perfect pair for any use!
When shopping for flip flops, have fun with it! Flip flops don’t go out of style, so you can invest in a patterned pair, a studded pair, or a brightly colored pair without worrying about how many seasons you can wear it. Chances are, your new pair will last for several summer seasons. Love that!
Statement earrings have been a huge trend the past few years; and they show no sign of slowing down for the summer 2018 season. These fabulous “Look at me!” earrings are meant to be worn as your jewelry focal point, and not paired with other statement pieces. So that gigantic statement ring you love? Pair it with simple hoops or dangles; not statement earrings. Also, pairing a necklace with statement earrings is a big no-no. Same with statement bracelets and cuffs. Keep your other jewelry simple so your summer 2018 statement earrings can shine!
There are so many earrings on the market for the summer 2018 season. Look for all styles of hoops, resin dangles, soft chains, fabric tassels, bead strands in a bunch, and bright colors. The hottest statement earrings for summer 2018 are made in bright colors or solid metal. Look for rainbow colors too! Rainbows are all the rage this summer, so why not rock the trend on your ears!
Don’t be afraid of brightly colored jewelry. If you are scared that colors are not your thing, try pairing bright earrings with a neutral outfit, an all-white look, or an all-black ensemble. There is nothing like getting cozy after a fun day playing in the Lake Tahoe area. Our family heads up to Tahoe several times per year, and we are always on the go when we are there. We tend to wake up early and go outside to play; whether we are doing snow sports or summer sports, we like to be the early bird. Since we always start our days early, we tend to get back to the house in the late afternoon or early evening; ready to relax!
Since we have been out all day, we are usually tired. In addition to being tired, the evenings tend to be cool; even in the summer. Since Tahoe is in the mountains, the summer evenings are very cool nights. Nothing feels better after a day of play then getting cozy in pajamas!
