My holiday gift guide for her 2021 is here! This holiday season, I am in the mood to give her the gift of IT items. Why not treat that special someone on your holiday list to an IT bag, IT hair dryer, fabulous kettle, on trend nail polish, classic perfume, cozy boots, a statement belt, and fabulous jewelry!

This year, the shopping theme is “shop early.” With delays in shipping in our ports, we can avoid any stock outages by shopping early, while everything we need to buy is still on store shelves. Unless you are waiting for a Black Friday door buster deal, buying gifts for everyone on your list now, is a wise idea. I have already started shopping, and I hope to be done by Thanksgiving!

Casual date night

casual fall outfit ideas

Wearing: sunglasses / large gold hoops (under $100) / fall lipstick / pink scarf (under $100) / black oversize top / G buckle belt / dark wash skinny jeans / fall nail polish / black pouch (IT bag under $1000) / chain detail boots /

Life has been so busy lately, my husband and I have not had a chance to go out together without the kids in months! In fact, we have only gone out once since the shut-down ended. About a week ago, we actually had a free Saturday evening, so we took advantage of it!

I have been to Flights in Los Gatos a handful of times with my mom for lunch, but my husband never had a chance to go. He had been missing out! Flights is a restaurant that serves different variations of a dish on the same plate; essentially a flight of food. It’s not only fun, creative, and fresh, it’s delicious!

My husband enjoyed a flight of skewers, while I ordered the seared ahi flight. We shared a plate of mixed mushrooms, and the french fries flight. It was a cool evening, and we ate on the patio, so I also ordered warm tea. It was perfect! The food was so good, and my husband was really impressed. He has a new favorite restaurant, that isn’t a sports bar! haha

Since I knew we would be on the patio, and Los Gatos is a California Casual type of place, I opted for my dark wash skinny jeans paired with my oversize, long sleeve top. To stay warm on the patio, I added my pink scarf. It was perfect for staying cozy outside on a cold evening.

If you are local to the Bay Area, be sure to try out Flights. They have locations in Los Gatos, Campbell, Burlingame, and Las Vegas (obvi not the Bay Area). If you go, make sure you get the french fries flight, it’s a must-have! If you love sushi, or fish in general, the seared ahi flight will knock your socks off. Yum!!

Thanks for stopping by!

BAF Weekly IT List

holiday street style trends

BAF Weekly IT List from opt left: foundation powder / fall nail polish / structured hobo bag (IT bag under $1000) / oversize black top / faux leather pants / lug sole boots / chocolate brown chain pouch (hot IT bag) / grey satchel /

Street style right now is chic, simple, and reminiscent of the 1990s; but without the dreadful and boring minimalism of the decade. I love that the good parts of ’90’s style is hot right now, without the bad, frankly boring parts. Love that!

Now that many mask mandates are coming to end, this foundation powder is a must-have! We can no longer get away with doing only our eyes, our whole face needs attention. This foundation powder is a face in one compact. Love it!

People are starting to dress up, and leave the loungewear at home. In fact, I am seeing less denim on the street and more faux leather pants, as well as skirts. It’s so chic; I love it!

Handbags are also a little bit more dressy as the structured hobo gains more and more popularity. Plus, the pouch clutch is a continuing star in the handbag world. Everyone seems to have one!

As the rainy season starts, these water resistant lug sole boots are a must-have. Plus, they have the ideal, on-trend 1990s look we all want right now. In addition, these boots are really comfortable. I bought them last year, and they are still being made this year because everyone loves them so much. If you haven’t snapped up a pair yet, what are you waiting for?

Stay tuned! Holiday gift guides are coming up in the next two weeks to help you get started early on your holiday shopping. I am huge proponent of shopping early. This helps ensure you get what you want while it is still in stock, plus allows for slower delivery times during the busy holiday season. I love finishing up before Thanksgiving. This way, we can all enjoy the holidays and see all the pretty gifts wrapped under the tree. Love!
