Whew it’s cold this year! I don’t know if the temperatures really are lower this year, but it sure feels a lot colder to me! When it’s cold, I love staying warm with a scarf, a good jacket, and a cozy sweater. My winter 2022 capsule wardrobe is cozy and casual; exactly what the winter season needs.

After the holiday season, life is fairly casual unless I am jetting off to New York Fashion Week, which I am following from home again this February due my children’s schedules. If I do need to look somewhat dressy, these faux leather pants will be perfect for keeping me warm and looking elevated. Love!

Of course, since periwinkle is the color of the year, I had to snap up this fabulous sweater for the winter season. It will also carry me into the spring season since we still get cool temperatures in the early spring months, as well as in the evenings later in the year. A cardigan sweater is a great item for layering in the spring and the summer; you never know when the fog will roll in around here!

I prefer a skinny jean, or classic cut silhouette in my denim when I am pairing it with jackets, coats, and sweaters. I feel like it gives off a more flattering silhouette than the trendy wide leg pants we have been seeing. Also, at my height, wide leg jeans overwhelm my frame, so I prefer sticking to skinny jeans and classic cuts.

Shoe capsule wardrobe winter 2022

Winter is here! In order to get through the winter season, I like to make sure I have warm and water-resistant footwear. These shoes can all end up in the rain and survive! Love that!

This winter season, my shoe capsule wardrobe consists of shoes which are all flat, with good arch support. If you have been following along, you may remember I injured my hip back in September. It healed, but as soon as my hip got better, I strained a ligament on the top of my foot, and it hurts like crazy! Of course, it is slow to heal because I need to use my foot. I can’t keep it up for six weeks. This means I need supportive footwear I can still hobble around in. All of these shoes in my winter capsule wardrobe offer good arch support, and foot support in general. Love!

In addition to being practical and supportive, the current footwear trends are still offering up a 1990s vibe. We are seeing lug soles, chunky silhouettes, and street sneakers. The shoes in my winter shoe capsule wardrobe all touch on these trends. You know I love a good trend!

The Dior nail polish cruise 2022 collection is here, and it’s both refreshing and fabulous.

Neutral and classic nail polish was a huge trend in 2021, and while bright colors, and happy ensembles will be hotter than hot in 2022, we are currently looking at more classic nail polish colors as we move into the new year. These timeless hues will balance our happy and bright looks this cruise, spring and summer 2022 seasons. Love!

For the cruise 2022 season, Dior is giving us fresh hues which make us want to book a yacht, go on a beach vacation, and basically go somewhere warm. Yes, I am wishing I was on a warm beach, or a desert vacation right now, but I digress. . .

The Dior cruise 2022 nail polish collection offers four beautiful colors for us to wear, so even if you are like me, and you don’t have a resort vacation booked, you and I can at least look like we are on a beach with our fabulous nails. We have a choice between feminine and classic pink with N**e Look, edgy neutrals with Cashmere and Tutu, or a dark beige-pink with Dansante. Love!

So, without further ado, let’s take a look at the four fabulous hues from the Dior cruise 2022 nail polish collection!

Dior 100 is a beautiful classic, medium pink nail polish. The name has nothing to do with the color, and I cannot type it for obvious reasons. haha That being said, this is a classic pink, and if you don’t already own a good pink polish, this is a pretty one to invest in for 2022. We will be seeing more pink polishes as the year progresses.

Dior Tutu nail polish from the Dior nail polish cruise 2022 collection is an orange-based beige which is a great, edgy neutral hue for the warm weather. It’s similar to colors other designers will be putting out for spring, so if you prefer Dior but admire the trendy nail polish colors that designers release, this is a great investment, not only for the cruise seasons, but well into the spring season too.

Dior Dansante nail polish a dark beige with purple-pink undertones. This the darkest polish from the cruise 2022 collection by Dior, and it’s the best color for transitioning from winter into the resort season. I am currently wearing Dansante and I love it! I plan to wear it for a while, or at least until I start to get more in a cruise season mode. Since I am writing this a week before Christmas, my head is still in the holiday season. haha

Dior nail polish cruise 2022 | Dior Cashmere

Dior Cashmere is a light and feminine neutral with slightly orange undertones; or you could say peachy. This is a great nail polish if you like wearing a lot of color or, if you prefer your nails to blend into the background. Cashmere is the best color for a conservative, office environment too.
