Casual fall day in San Jose Japantown

Life has been on the stressful side lately, so I decided to pre-order some Chichi Dango and enjoy a meal in San Jose’s Japantown. Have you heard of Shuei-Do in San Jose? They are famous for their soft and delicious Chichi Dango. They make it fresh daily Thursday through Sunday. The flavors are seasonal, and since they get busy, it is best to pre-order what you want a couple days in advance. I pre-ordered raspberry and mango. They were so good! Raspberry is my favorite.

After picking up our treats, we walked around and then enjoyed lunch at Okayama Sushi. Normally I would order sushi, but I was in the mood for tendon and gyoza. It was so yummy! Highly recommend!

Thankfully we are starting to get a small amount of fall weather. I was able to wear jeans and a long sleeve tee. It was perfect! I love this cooler weather.

So, if you are local, I recommend picking up some Chichi Dango and then enjoying a nice meal in San Jose’s Japantown. Love!

Going to a Broadway Show at night and wondering what to wear? Never fear, outfit inspo is here!

The evening Broadway Shows are a bit chicer than the daytime matinee performances. While you can wear your office attire during the week, the weekends are a touch dressier. So, I recommend a jacket over skirt or trousers, the high heels you never have a chance to wear, and a smaller handbag. Think conservative Saturday night dinner attire. Love!

When it comes to fragrance, remember that a theater is tight quarters. I recommend one spray on your wrist and then dab it on the other wrist and neck. Don’t be tempted for a second spray! One spray is perfect.

Oooh Dior’s holiday beauty collection is here! I will have the nail polish review up by Monday. The colors are so pretty!! As we move through fall and towards the holidays and winter seasons, the anonymous handbag, timeless jewelry, cozy sweaters, and classic styles continue to be at the forefront of street style. In the spring season, we will see some bright pops of colors, more shades of purple and pink, and a more colorful wardrobe. That being said, neutrals will play a key role in our overall color palette, so don’t be afraid to invest in neutrals!
