The beauty deals are the best part of the 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. So many products I use are being offered in sets which can save us a great deal of money. As you know, this is money we can spend on fabulous handbags later in the season. Love that!

I am excited to try this face mask. It looks like it will be a great way to deep clean at home. Since my daughter is taking my hair dryer and all its attachments to college with her, I am getting this hair dryer set for myself as a replacement. It looks amazing!

Laura Mercier eye pencils are a huge favorite of mine. I have been using them for over twenty years! Love! So, this eye pencil set from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great deal, and I love the colors!

Hair is your biggest accessory, so why not use the best shampoo? My hairdresser recommends Oribe, and she knows hair! I love this hair care set and I also have the travel size versions in my travel beauty bag. This set is a great deal so I am excited to snap it up and save more money I can put towards my handbag fund. haha

L’Occitane hand cream is a cult favorite, so this set is the perfect hand care set to buy now. It is one of my favorites and definitely coming home with me!

The 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here! You will see people refer to it on social media as the NSALE, but you already knew that. I love this sale because there are so many basics, beauty products, and casual pieces we can all use to update our closets as we transition from summer into fall.

The sale is a celebration of Nordstrom’s anniversary, but it also rewards customers with discounted pricing on new, pre-fall and fall merchandise. So, if you like something, snap it up while it is on sale!

If you have a Nordstrom credit card, lucky you! This means you can start shopping when your spending tier opens up. Today is the start of the sale for Nordstrom’s biggest spenders. Then each day this week the sale opens to another spending tier until all card holders can start shopping this Thursday, July 11. The sale opens to the general public on Monday, July 15, 2024. The last day of the sale will be Sunday, August 4, 2024.

Items at the sale do not restock unless someone returns something. This means you should snap up what you want, when you see it. Save your receipt so if you change your mind, you can return it. I highly recommend purchasing online and picking up in store. This saves time, and you can return something right away if it isn’t right. Seriously, trying to shop this sale in person is a nightmare. The fitting rooms are full, and the vulture shoppers come out from who knows where. You feel like you are trying to shop in the twilight zone. The most relaxing way to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is online.

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is good this year. I feel like there are a lot of great choices for basics, beauty products, sweaters, and shoes. I am excited and cannot wait until Thursday when I can finally shop! Look for timeless styles and try to stay away from trendy items. The colors to seek out for the fall 2024 season include shades of red, shades of green: especially greens in the olive family, darker blues, neutrals, black, grey, and browns.

You can use my list to help you find the best pieces from the sale. If you live near a Nordstrom you can shop online and pick up in store. If you want to avoid the crazy, vulture-like crowds altogether, have everything shipped home.

Casual stripe dress for summer

I found another dress with pockets! It’s like dressmakers have listened and given women pockets-finally! Not that I am putting anything in the pockets, but I am happy to know they are there. haha

This dress is a subtle nod to patriotism for the summer. The navy and white stripes with a single red stripe at the bottom make it a fun dress to wear for the summer, patriotic season. Plus, it’s under $50. Love that!

I wore this dress recently to meet my friend Dawn, from Fashion Should Be Fun, for lunch. We enjoyed strolling around Valley Fair and eating lunch at King’s Fish House. Yum! Since temperatures were in the high 90’s, it was a comfortable dress to wear.

It was hard to choose a handbag to wear to wear with this dress. In hindsight, I would have preferred to wear my straw tote bag. That being said, this hobo bag works too. Next time I wear it, the straw tote will be the bag!

These ballet flats worked perfectly for walking since they have excellent support. If you need extra support in your shoes, or you suffer from Planter Fasciitis like me, check out my review of this comfortable shoe collection.

This dress comes in a variety of color combos, so if navy/white/red isn’t your thing, check out the other colors!

Also, next time you are at Valley Fair, I highly recommend King’s Fish House. Dawn and I frequently eat lunch there because all the food is always delicious! Highly recommend.
