Graphic prints for fall 2013

graphic prints fall 2013 by bayareafashionista on Polyvore

Graphic prints were huge on the fall/winter 2013 runways in New York, Paris, Milan and London. Although many of the graphic prints favored by designers were shown in black/white, there was also an array of colored prints on the runways which are spicing up the streets this autumn season.

Graphic print are being shown on everything imaginable including dresses, tops, pants, skirts and even jackets. As the color blocking trend fades into the background, graphic prints are rising up to take center stage in the trend arena. These intricate prints also dominated the runways for  spring/summer 2014. in New York, Paris, Milan and London. This is a trend on the upswing!

For the fall 2013 season, look to add at least one graphic print to your wardrobe. If you are feeling bold, try a dress and make the trend the focal point of your ensemble. If you are feeling a little shy about this “notice me” trend, try pairing a scarf with an all-black outfit for a chic and understated version of the look.

Personally I love this trend on dresses and skirts. I am definitely on the hunt for the perfect graphic print dress! What do you think of this trend? How do you plan to wear it? Are you already rockin’ it?

I found a few fabulous graphic print pieces around the web and assembled them into the shopping widget below. Hope you love them! Happy shopping, and stay fabulous 😉

I have always been one of those people who only wears one watch. The watch I have been wearing since 2005 is stainless steel and understated. Every season I see new watches on the runways and on store shelves. I always think “What a cool trend, maybe I will buy one,” but it never seems to happen. In 2013, I have been craving a new watch. The colorful watches popping up on the runways and on the streets have really caught my attention. I was thrilled when Lolly Watches contacted me about their new line of colorful, eco-chic watches. Not only are Lolly Watches bright and cheery, they are on-trend and have a special surprise which sets them apart from other colorful watches in the marketplace.

Do you remember scratch and sniff stickers when you were a kid? My favorite scratch and sniff stickers were the ones which smelled like fruit; specifically grape! I have always loved the smell of grape. Erasers, stickers, you name it; anything which came in a scent had to be grape! Do you want to know what makes Lolly Watches so much cooler than other colorful watches on the market? They come with scents! How fun is that?!

In addition to beautiful colors and fun scents, Lolly Watches are eco-chic! That’s right! Made from eco-resin, a naturally sustainable polymer, Lolly Watches are environmentally friendly and help reduce the use of plastic! Love that! Lolly Watches are also a “Plant-A-Tree” partner. The company is dedicated to planting a tree for every watch they sell. How fabulous is that!

Of course I chose the grape scented purple Lolly Watch to share with you. Not only is purple one of my favorite colors, I still love the smell of grape; even though I am pushing the big 4-0! This purple Lolly Watch is the perfect, colorful addition to my wardrobe. Purple happens to be a hot color for fall 2013, and it is being shown well into 2014, so I am thrilled I can wear my Lolly Watch for seasons to come.
