Sparkling corduroy pants

wearing: crystal hoop earrings (old, similar here)/ lipstick / black sweater / crystal bracelet (old, also love this one) / studded handbag / nail polish / sparkling corduroy pants / patent Mary Janes (old, also love this pair) /

I’m always gravitating towards all-black outfits, so when I spotted these sparkling corduroy pants, I knew I needed them in my life! What better way to add a little somethin’ somethin’ to an all-black look? Love!

I really wish my camera did these pants justice. They really do sparkle! The best part is that unlike sequins, they don’t catch on anything or shed. These pants stay looking neat and sparkly over and over again. They have become my go-to pants for the holiday party season! I plan to wear them on Christmas too.

Of course, they can be paired with other colors besides black, that just happens to be how I have been wearing them. These sparkling corduroy pants also look fabulous with a blazer, sequin top, silk blouse; the possibilities are endless. They are a neutral basic, which isn’t so basic! Love that!

Seriously, if you are under the light or in the sun, they sparkle like crazy! Mental note: get a better camera.

So, if you are looking for festive pants you can wear throughout the holiday season and the spring season-for additional sparkling outfits, these are your pants!

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Holidays!

Why you need Apple AirTags when you travel

pictured: apple AirTags / AirTag case / sequin sweater / faux leather pants /

If you are frequent traveler, you may already be on to Apple AirTags. If you don’t already know this, keep reading.

These handy little devices are great for tracking items you might lose or misplace. Many people already use them for things like car keys; but did you know that you can place one in your suitcase so that if gets misplaced at an airport you can locate it? Yes, this is allowed by TSA. Love that!

In addition to being allowed to place an Apple AirTag inside your checked or carry-on suitcase, several airlines are now partnering with Apple in order to help locate your bag even faster. Before this partnership, a tired traveler would call the airline and explain their bag didn’t show up at their destination. They would explain there was an AirTag inside the bag and they could see it sitting on the tarmac at the last airport they left from. Oftentimes the airline would brush them off, and it would take days for the bag to be located and returned to its rightful owner. Now, with this Apple AirTag partnership, travelers can share the link to the AirTag with the airline and the bag can be found in record time, which means it gets returned to its owner right away. Love this!

Now that this partnership exists, I am placing Apple AirTags in both my checked baggage and also my carry-on bags. With carry-on bags, you never know when you might have to check them at the gate, so being prepared with a lock and an AirTag is a wise decision.

Not all airlines have partnered with Apple for locating AirTags. Check with your airline to see if they are partnering with Apple. Also, use an AirTag even your airline is not partnering with Apple, this will still help you find your bag, even if it takes a little longer than partner airlines.

Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy your travels!

Nutrius Brazilian Body Butter review

nutrius brzilian body butter review costco

Nutrius Brazilian Body Butter above: body butter fuchsia top / nail polish / Below: body butter yellow top / nail polish /

Raise your hand if you love a good body butter. Mine is way up! I love a good body butter, and these two scents by Nutrius are absolutely fabulous.

I first encountered this duo at Costco while wandering around the aisles. I was surprised to find they smell amazing and are extremely nourishing. Love that!

Since my skin gets very dry during the winter months, this body butter turned out to be a life saver. I only have to apply it once and the scent stays fresh, and my skin stays nourished without drying out again. That is the ultimate flex when it comes to body cream.

While both versions have slightly different ingredients, the only difference I notice is the scent. The fuchsia top has more of a powdery sweet fragrance while the yellow top is beachier; I assume due to the coconut. Both fragrances smell fantastic, and I have found myself addicted! Of course, as with anything at Costco, I can’t find it there anymore. Thankfully these body butters from Nutrius can be found elsewhere on the web.

I hope you enjoy these body butters!

Thanks for stopping by!
