I will admit, one of my guilty pleasures is watching reality television. My two favorite shows are on Bravo; The Real Housewives and Million Dollar Listing. I love Real Housewives because sometimes I find them entertaining and I find the situations they get themselves into hilarious! Million Dollar Listing is also a favorite television show of mine. I love seeing real estate in other parts of the country and then comparing it to the crazy real estate market here in the San Francisco Bay Area. The real estate agents on Million Dollar Listing are heavy hitters and it is fun to see how they juggle multiple listings, high maintenance clients and competition from other real estate agents.

So, it may come as no surprise that when Rita and I spotted several Bravolebrities at New York Fashion Week, we were thrilled! We spotted Luann de Lesseps from Real Housewives of New York getting ready to sit down in her front row seat at Vivienne Tam. Sonja Morgan graciously allowed Rita to snap her picture after the Malan Breton show. We met the beautiful and sweet Kristen Taekman after the Luis Antonio show and then met New York real estate heavy-hitter Luis Ortiz at the Luis Antonio after-party. Rita met Pandora and her husband after the Desigual show and they were sweet enough to allow her to snap the above photo. We loved meeting the people we enjoy watching on television and are grateful for the chance meetings!

So spill it, do you watch reality television? What are your favorite shows?

Desigual showed their spring/summer 2015 collection at New York Fashion Week on September, 4, 2015. Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima kicked off the show and dazzled the crowd. Love her!

Desigual’s spring/summer 2015 collection was inspired by nature’s flora and fauna which resulted in a colorful, multi-cultural bouquet throughout the warm weather collection. Desigual’s collection celebrated daisies in bloom, desert roses, tropical hibiscus and Mexican dahlias. This eclectic mix created a vibrant collection which was uplifting, energetic, inspiring and downright happy!

The runway show reflected the energetic and spirited crowd in attendance which included Rosario Dawson, Poppy Delevingne, Olivia Palermo, RJ Mitte, Mis USA 2012 Nana Meriwether, Pandora Vanderpump, Camille Rowe and Laura Gomez.

We loved all of the prints, playful patterns and flattering silhouettes in Desigual’s spring/summer 2015 collection. To view the entire collection, please visit the IMG Fashion video below.

The first day of New York Fashion Week was hotter than hot. I mean as in temperature hot! (I know you thought amazing designs on the runway, there was that too, but the temperature was crazy hot!). So to keep cool, I paired a lightweight cotton tee with my new favorite go-to skirt for the fall season. This skirt is basic, yet not-so-basic. I feel like I can wear it when I don’t know what to wear; and to any event where I need to look professional! It is a great alternative to the classic black pencil skirt. When the weather cools down, I plan on pairing this skirt with sweaters and blouses.

This outfit was understated and utilitarian; perfect for running around New York to both onsite and off-site fashion shows! Day one was definitely my biggest, logistical nightmare, day during fashion week. I started the day with an off-site show, then quickly cabbed it back to Lincoln Center for an on-site show, then walked to an off-site show, then went back for an on-site show; rinse and repeat. Whew!

Thankfully, despite the hot and humid weather, I still felt put together in this outfit and cool enough to brave the busy day!

Stay tuned! I have a lot more spring/summer 2015 runway shows to bring you; as well as some Lincoln Center tent fun!
