Geluxury slippers review

One of my biggest complaints about my feet is how my heels crack so easily! Nothing ruins a pair of Manolo Blahniks more than a pair of cracked, ugly heels. Ugh! I have tried using various brands of foot cream but nothing ever works miracles. So when Geluxury contacted me to review their Polygel Geluxury Slippers, I jumped at the chance!

Geluxury slippers make foot moisturizing simple. Instead of messing with different foot creams, which can leave a sticky film on your foot, Geluxury slippers have a rubber lining that is infused with therapeutic botanicals and ceremides including mineral oil, avocado oil, canola oil, jojoba oil, grape seed oil, soybean oil, olive oil and ceramides. This rubber lining is called “SmartGel” and I have decided it has an IQ over 170! 😉

After wearing Geluxury slippers for about half an hour a day, over the course of one week, my cracked heels went away! I couldn’t believe it. No buffing, no messy creams and no scraping! How easy is that?!

Geluxury slippers come in two fashionable and fabulous colors; “Cuddle Cow” and “Leopard.” Priced at $49.95, they are cheaper than a spa visit and perfect as a holiday gift. Love that!

Laura Mercier Golden Honey Musk review

laura mercier bath and body gift ideas

If you have been following my blog for awhile, you already know I am a huge fan of Laura Mercier’s bath products. Laura Mercier’s honey bath collection is a luxurious line of bubble baths which offer moisturizing properties and warm fragrances. Laura Mercier’s line of souffle body creme is equally luxurious; offering warm fragrances and vitamin-packed moisture. Love that!

For the 2014 holiday season, Laura Mercier is offering a beautiful gift box with both the Golden Honey Musk honey and Golden Honey Musk souffle body creme together as a duet. Love it! These beautiful smelling skin care products would normally cost $53 when purchased separately, but as a duet, they are priced at only $50. Perfect holiday gift!

Laura Mercier’s Golden Honey Musk Duet is a limited edition gift set for the holiday 2014 season. I love the idea of giving someone two of my favorite fragrant, skin care products in a pretty box. Golden Honey Musk is such a beautiful scent which is warm and ideal for the winter months. It makes the perfect gift!

I give both products in Laura Mercier’s Golden Honey Musk duet five out of five stars. I’m in love with this gift set!

Tracy Reese fall 2014 dress two ways

I am a sucker for a dress which can be worn in both warm and cold weather. Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, our weather changes so much; sometimes in the middle of the day! It is important to have a wardrobe which can easily flow from warm to cold and back to warm temperatures.

This dress from Tracy Reese is perfect for our Bay Area micro-climates. I originally purchased it to wear at New York Fashion Week last September. It was ideal in the 90 degree heat and humidity. The natural fabric breathed and managed to keep me cool. My feet were killing me after a long day of on and off site shows, so I ended up pairing my comfortable moto boots with the dress and throwing my hair into a ponytail. It was hot and I needed to be comfortable!

Fast forward to our recent winter temperatures and the dress is still working for me! I have been wearing it with high heels and my favorite jacket of the season; my Rebecca Minkoff pink moto jacket. This dress is so comfortable and versatile; I am glad I invested in it for fashion week and the fall season! It has become my go-to dress this season. It can also be dressed up with pointed toe heels and a faux fur jacket. Love it!

What is your favorite, versatile piece this fall/winter season?
