Fringe was a huge, up-and-coming trend in 2014. For 2015, this boho-chic trend is showing no sign of slowing down; in fact, it is speeding up! Designers have taken a fancy to the fringe trend and are adorning everything we can think of with strands of leather, fabric and more! Handbags, shoes, clothing, accessories and jewelry are being shown with fringe elements on them. From small fringe touches on the side of a handbag to all-over layers of fringe, the trend is taking the fashion runways, and streets, by storm.

The fringe trend comes from the boho-chic trend which has faded into a personal style look; rather than a front and center runway crowd pleaser. While flowing boho-chic silhouettes are not front and center, the fringe, flowing element is; and it is one of the more important trends for 2015.

When wearing fringe in the resort, spring and summer seasons, wear one standout fringe peice and keep the rest of your look simple. If you are wearing a pair of fringe shoes, opt for a non-fringe dress and try to stick with solid colors; no prints. This will keep your fringe peice as the key element in your look. Love that!

Looking to incorporate fringe into eveyday wear? Look for a casual fringe handbag in a neutral color. You can pair it with almost anything in day-to-life and look like you just walked off the runway. Flat sandals with fringe are another, daily item you can wear in order to incorporate the fringe trend into casual, everyday styles.

I personally love the fringe trend and have been carrying this cute little handbag in black, by Rebecca Minkoff, for the past few months. I am looking forward to continuing to wear it into 2015. What is your favorite way to wear the fringe trend for 2015?

Laura Mercier’s Rouge Nouveau Weightless Lip Colour is one of my favorite lipsticks. It always goes on smoothly and never cakes. The color is long lasting and moisturizes my lips. Love that!

Coy is a fabulous color which was introduced for the fall/winter season into the Rouge Nouveau Weightless Lip Colour collection. I love lipstick colors which are easy to wear and offer natural appeal. Coy is the perfect lipstick hue for looking natural. It has a warm, pale look which is perfect for daily wear. Coy Rouge Nouveau Weightless Lip Colour by Laura Mercier is my current go-to lipstick color which has a permanent place in my purse this fall/winter season.

I am thrilled to have Laura Mercier’s Rouge Nouveau Weightless Lip Colour in Coy for the fall/winter season; of course, I love the entire Rouge Nouveau Weightless Lip Colour collection!

Holiday shoe wish list 2014

holiday shoe wish list 2014

Pictured: Iridescent silver pumps / Silver sandals / Black satin pumps / Sparkle sandal booties

Every holiday season designers come out with fabulous, sparkling high heels for the holiday party season. I always wish I could own all the beautiful pairs of shoes I see during the holidays. Of course, I have one pair of staple black party shoes and one pair of silver party shoes in my closet. That’s it! Since I wear them, at most, twice per year, I cannot justify purchasing another pair of holiday shoes. But, a girl can dream can’t she?

I love the shoes pictured above and wish I could own them all! The iridescent pair is trendy and hot off the runway. The silver sandals are classic and could be worn for many years; including formal events during any season. The black pumps are extremely classic and could last a generation! The sandal/booties hybrid is an of-the-moment staple which is also, hot off the runway.

Sigh. . .I will continue to dream.
