Concept Korea Fashion Collectives showed their fall/winter 2015/2016 collection at The Pavilion in Lincoln Center on Friday, February 13, 2015. The collection featured both men and women’s clothing for the upcoming cool weather season. Concept Korea included designs by “Beyond Closet, design by Tae Yong,” “Leyii,” and “Resurrection.”

The lines were sleek; offering chic silhouettes for office and daytime wear. The color palette was neutral, and offered pops of purple along with unexpected, understated patterns. All three designers showed collections which are easy to integrate into one’s wardrobe. Loved it!

My favorite looks on the Concept Korea fall 2015 runway were the grey and purple ensembles. What do you think of the collection?

SK-II Pitera Essence Set review

SK-II was one of the fabulous sponsors for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York earlier this month. They handled the skin care routine for several of the designers who showed their fall 2015 collections during New York Fashion Week, and they also offered demonstrations of their products inside the tents for fashion show guests, and fashion insiders.

I had heard of SK-II’s products before fashion week, but had never tested them out before. When SK-II contacted me prior to fashion week, I jumped at the chance to test out their products. After all, my skin is aging, and it needs anything it can get to combat the test of time!

The SK-II Pitera Essence Set is essentially a facial in box. One of the best ways to keep skin youthful and hydrated is through a facial! For a busy mom like me, going to a spa for a facial seems like something done in a faraway land. I simply do not have time! So, I was thrilled to receive SK-II’s Pitera Essence Set since it is a facial I can give myself at home, on my own time. Love that!

The directions in the box are easy to follow, and the products are gentle, luxurious, and easy to use. The most relaxing part of the facial is the mask. My face has never been happier, and more relaxed! I love the results on my face from SK-II’s Pitera Essence Set. My skin is smoother, softer, and more vibrant than it was before I tested out the set. I am so excited!

I loved SK-II’s Pitera Essence Set so much, I am looking forward to testing out more of their products in the future.

Mini bags for spring 2015

mini bags for spring 2015

Mini bags for spring 2015: Black mini bag / White mini bag / Cobalt blue mini bag / Fuchsia mini satchel / Polka Dot mini convertible satchel

Mini bags have been a huge trend over the past few seasons; and the trend is showing no sign of slowing down as we move into spring 2015. Consumers love this trend, which means mini bags are hot on the streets; mainly in the form of cross body bags and satchels.

If you already have a mini bag from a past season, you are all set! If not, this is the perfect time to invest in a mini bag for the spring and summer seasons. If you are looking for a shoulder bag version, look for a strap which can be worn cross body. The handbag silhouette should be rectangular or round. These are the two hottest silhouettes! Some designers are showing patterns such as polka dots, while other are showing kitschy designs such as monster face. The most popular style is being in a solid color. Look for  neutrals, shades of blue, pinks, red, and cheery yellow.

Mini satchels catch your eye? Look for east/west silhouettes and squares. Mini satchels are a great way to wear the mini bag trend and not sacrifice too much on interior space. Mini satchels tend to be roomier than mini shoulder bags. Designers are showing mini satchels mainly in solid colors; although, you will find a few color blocked versions on store shelves. Look for suede blocked with smooth leather; or canvas blocked with leather. Love that!

Mini bucket bags and drawstring bags are also on the market for the spring 2015 season, although, not as popular as the shoulder bag and satchel versions. Drawstring and bucket bags are a great way to wear the mini bag trend if you are worried about fitting things into a small handbag. Since the bottom of the bag is round, there is quite a bit of room inside a mini drawstring or mini bucket bag. This is a great way to wear the drawstring or bucket handbag trend if you feel like the traditional versions are too large. The mini version will be perfect for you!

Here are a few fabulous mini bags for spring 2015. Happy shopping, and stay fabulous 😉
