Whish body products offer a wide variety of bath & body items which are must-haves in a girl’s bath. They offer body cream, body scrub, bump cream, exfoliating body wash, correcting gel, hair inhibiting gel, shaving cream, body butter, and travel sets. All of their items have yummy fragrances, making them fun to use! Love that!

I am in love with the body butter, and the bath & body gel! The body butter is very moisturizing, and the fragrances are to-die-for! During the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, Whish has a fabulous special collection of scents called the “Soda Fountain Collection.” This sweet fragrance collection includes “Black Cherry,” “Ginger Melon,” Orange Cream,” and “Key Lime.” The “Black Cherry” and “Orange Cream” are amazing! My favorites 🙂

Whish is a fabulous beauty brand which creates products that are free of parabens, sulfates, TEA & DEA, and petrochemicals. All of their products are natural! Love that! To make things even better, Whish uses organic ingredients whenever, and wherever, possible. This creates a luxurious and indulgent collection which is like no other.

Whish’s “Soda Foundation Collection” is only available during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It can be found online here, and at Nordstrom stores nationwide while supplies last, or until August 2, 2015.

Last week, when we were in Orange County, we had a small taste of fall. Between the hot and humid weather caused by the remnants of a hurricane, there was a crazy, tropical storm which dumped rain and dark skies on the southland. In the midst of this torrential downpour, there was a small window of cool weather before the storm hit; this is when I reached for a summer into fall outfit.

I always think of August as a transitional month between summer and fall. Perhaps it is because when I was a child, we started school the day after Labor Day; and that meant the fall season had begun. Nowadays, kids start school in the middle of August, so the transition to fall has become blurry for me; making me wonder exactly when to start my wardrobe transition! Although we are still in July, the storm, despite the fact that it was hot and humid, made me think of transitioning from summer into fall; at least for a tiny moment in time 😉

Since the 70’s are an important decade of influence for the fall season, along with some 80’s and 90’s influences, I have become obsessed with my new flair jeans. I love pairing them with this breezy, cropped blouse from Express which offers a fall color palette, and summer weight. This makes it the perfect blouse for transitioning from summer into fall. It can handle the heat of summer, yet evokes a fall feeling through the pattern and color palette. Love that!

I look forward to wearing this blouse with more than just jeans for the remainder of summer, and in early fall. It looks cute with casual, denim shorts; as well as denim pencil skirts! It also looks amazing with black pants, and black denim. It is just a great, all-around, casual top, which is comfortable and perfect for summer into fall.

Chloe Faye medium review

Pictured: Chloe Faye in medium. Leather and suede combination. Grey.

The Chloe Faye is a beautiful handbag from one of my favorite design houses; Chloe. This chic handbag offers a 1970’s vibe with a flap closure, (often referred to as a Saddle Bag), and two large, interior compartments. There is also a roomy zipper pocket inside.

I have been eyeing the Chloe Faye since Chloe sent it down the runway a couple of seasons ago. The handbag started to appear on the streets in full force during spring 2015. For fall 2015, the Chloe Faye is flying off of store shelves and seems to be an upcoming IT bag for the season. Love that!

My medium Chloe Faye is extremely easy to wear. The handbag is lightweight, and the interior compartments make it easy to organize my purse essentials. The flap closure offers a strong magnetic snap which is fuss-free. Love that!

There is a lot of versatility in the Chloe Faye! The shoulder strap is detachable, which allows the Chloe Faye to be worn as a large, daytime clutch. The shoulder strap is also adjustable. I prefer to wear the handbag with the strap attached. I also prefer the strap adjusted as short as possible. I like the handbag under my arm; not dangling low. It just feels right.

The Chloe Faye shoulder bag has two sizes which are popular; the small and the medium. I chose the medium size because I like to have room for extra items my kids might ask me to hold; or I may just want to take extra things with me somewhere! I am also eyeing the small size, and may eventually break down and get one. Not that I have a handbag addiction or anything 😉 ha!

The medium Chloe Faye measures in at 10″ X 12.5″ X 1.5″ and the strap offers a 12″ drop. Chloe Faye is made in Italy.

I really enjoy carrying  my medium Chloe Faye. The handbag bag is user-friendly, on trend, and has an IT factor to it. All things I love in a handbag! The 1970’s vibe, and mixed fabrication, make the handbag unique; another feature I am in love with! This is definitely a great handbag to own for now, and many seasons to come!

I rate the medium Chloe Faye in grey, five out of five stars!
